Lonzo 2pts through 3 quarters and hasn't entered the game in the 4th yet.

LTG gets a victory lap tomorrow. Shakes needs to do the right thing and let him have it.

yes, it's unfortunate....but true

This kid was setup to fail by his idiotic father. Sickening how he put his kid under tremendous pressure to succeed to support his brand.

You can't ignore the damage he is doing to his kids because he happens to be black. Goff likes to think of him as a role model because he is fighting whitey. This just makes him look ignorant and misses the point that the end doesn't justify the means.

Lavar may be a fool but he pimped his son into being a No.2 pick. This one is on Magic Johnson. He fell for the banana in the tailpipe.

His son was always going to be the #2 draft pick. And there is a very slight chance he would have been the #1 draft pick WITHOUT Lavar Ball.

If the Lakers don't get the 2nd pick he may not have gone 2nd. Danny Ainge didn't like him all that much.

He was never considered a better prospect than Fultz either.

It all comes down to the outside shot. If he can't hit it he's going to always struggle. It's not like he is missing tough shots, he's missing wide open 3s. He's either going to learn how to hit those shots and become a great player or he's not.

It also doesn't help that he's in such a tough situation to succeed. He's a pass first PG playing in a starting lineup that features a horrible center who can't rebound or run the floor and a starting SG who is the second worst offensive 2g in the NBA behind Roberson. Ingram is a pure ISO player who isn't any good yet.

I'd like to see Walton go with Ball, Clarkson, Randle, Ingram and Kuzma and just run with those guys 30+ minutes per game and see what develops.

Lonzo Ball started getting ranked ahead of Markelle Fultz on midseason 2016-2017 top college players lists. Not unanimously, but on several.

He's not worthy of a top 5 pick, I told you clowns this for 6 months. He's going to have to change his shot and get a much quicker release..He could have value if he shot 35% with a quicker release, I just don't think he's likely to change his mechanics after 20 years.

LTG handles the day to day stuff. I never doubted his passing or rebounding skills..you gotta be an all around star to go #2...Magic really fucked up, Fox was a no brainer.

yea cause Fox is just lighting it up this year. Shooting under 40% as well.

Live I've said since June. It's going to take 2-3 years to fully evaluate the draft class, especially the guys who play PG, the hardest position to play in the NBA.

I don’t know how anyone ever thought this kid was gonna be a stud. He shoots from the left side of his fucking head.

Yup. It was clear in college. That's why college basketball is great. It allows you the best chance to scout players.

Another triple double for Lonzo last night. 11 pts, 16 boards, 11 assists, only 2 turnovers, 2 blocks.

In the past two games he has greatly reduced the amount of 3s he is taking. Only 1 the other night and only 2 last night (not counting the 2 buzzer beater half court heaves over past 2 games)

A decidedly different take on Ball's triple double.

I don’t even like Ball, but that’s a lame as shit clickbait article. You could make almost every triple double look meaningless by throwing a few clips and snarky comments up if you wanted.

Yeah it was dumb.

Even in the article the guy says every NBA PG gets easy assists.

You also could overvalue every triple too. You can perform badly and still have a triple double.

What he is essentially saying is that the kid isn't really all that impressive. Still can't shoot and doesn't really break anyone down off the bounce. There isn't really anything special and when you get down to it he is looking more and more like an overhyped right handed version of Kendall Marshall.

It is interesting the level of muted comments whenever we are told how "great" he happens to be playing. Somehow someway that stuff is rarely called for the B.S. that it happens to be.

Is it any dumber than a guy telling you that a guy played great even after scoring 0 points? Actually the author made more sense with his points than the guy that constantly spews B.S. in each and every post. I can't remember you or others chiming him with "dumb as fuck" comments however.

Every post is a referendum on how the board treats you. If you weren't wrong so often and then stopped acting like a douche in your wrongness, people wouldn't feel the need to pile on. Just my $0.02. Keep calm and carry on.

You know Hank's willfully avoiding working if he's posting in the nba forum.
