Nah it isn't. They aren't going anywhere this year anyway. Won't know what they will be til Durant comes in. They should move Dinwiddie while his stock is sky high and get someone to play up front. Jarrett Allen also.

I am tired of all of the injuries with Kyrie though. Every year its something. Meanwhile he just got elected V.P. of the players union which means most of his interest will probably be elsewhere. Everywhere but Basketball it seems.

When he plays he's money but he doesn't play enough to be in the top 10 of players.

He’s so good they had a better record without him. You just said they weren’t going anywhere this year, no reason to play through anything. Get the surgery and be more ready to get injured next year, better for Brooklyn. In retrospect it would have been a safe bet to say KD was going to play more games with the Nets than Kyrie, even knowing KD would miss the whole first year.

Their record without him isn't all that great and he hasn't played in enough games to really know whether they are better or not anyway. I know its sort of fashionable to diss the guy around here but he has a ring and was a HUGE part of why they won it.

He also makes New Jersey a better team too. The biggest problem with him are the injuries. He has to play. He has demonstrated that he can win on the biggest stage imaginable so the message board narrative regarding "loser" and such is sort of stupid quite frankly.

I wanna say that Kyrie has had something like only 2 seasons in his career where he's played in 70+ games. That's pretty fk'n incredible when you consider that the guy was basically considered a no-doubt max contract when ppl were doing the FA talks throughout this last offseason.

That said, in his ~20 games this season Kyrie *did* average ~27ppg, so he produces when he's out there, but again the key is when he's out there...

Iike I've said for three years now - this guy is nothing more than a whiny b1tch. He's worth nothing unless he's carried by a superior player. Check this thread.

You said Kobe sucked 3 years ago, then were willing to jerk him off in the casket. You're all over the map.

Anyone that thinks he was "carried" by Lebron in that Golden State series is being silly.

Also, anyone that thinks he wasn’t “carried” to the finals by LeBron is being silly.

Nah he did his part to get them there too. He was a solid No. 2 player and once Lebron stopped dominating the ball so much the series against Golden State turned around.

I used to be all in on Kyrie, but now I’m all out.

Uncle Drew was a fun dumb movie tho.

I'm still trying but he is making tough. Too much of a diva these days. When he is actually hooping he is fine but he doesn't play enough to offset all of the other stuff that surrounds him

Most irrelevant player in the league. He'd retired tomorrow and the league wouldn't be affected in any way. It'd just be less loud and less bitchy, whiny and dumb.

Kobe was a net negative for the Lakers during the last two years of his career.

Just got elected Veep of the Players Association. Hardly an irrelevant player.

Iggy is the First Vice President and would be the real Veep. There are 6 VPs with Kyrie under him, including the legendary Bismack Biyambo.

Kyrie Irving was the 2nd best player on a team that won an NBA Championship.

He hit the shot that won the championship. He will never be irrelevant. Again its simply silly to think that and whenever he plays he produces. Again hardly irrelevant. 6 time All Star and he isn't even 30 yet

And for all of Lebron love you get around here you would have thought that he made the playoffs last season

Kyrie's first order of action as the association's 33 1/2 ranking member is to file a motion to ban overseas games due to the risk of falling off the edge of the earth.

McAdoo was undeniably an irrelevant 3point shooter however.
