IMO it is a no brainer for Doncic.

Can Simmons do anything better?

Simmons can rebound pass and defend better. I agree it’s Doncic and it’s a no brainer though. There are very few players under 23 I’m taking over Doncic.

I like both players. By no brainer all I mean is that I would definitely take Doncic over Simmons. Not saying it’s guaranteed or even the right call.

Rebound is an advantage for Simmons.

Passing...while the numbers show Simmons as better now, I think Doncic will only get better at this and will be every bit as good of a passer as Simmons.

Other than shooting I dont see a lot of room for growth with Simmons....and I dont think he is growing as a shooter...he is who he is.

The sky is the limit for Doncic

I'm not as ready to anoint Doncic as a lot of people are, but I'm even more skeptical about Simmons. His utter disinterest in shooting and entire attitude about it is a major red flag to me and I think any team letting him run the point without any improvement in that area will hit a ceiling.

I can’t agree on the passing. Simmons is arguably as good as any passer in the NBA. It’s a natural gift and he has it like LeBron has/had it. Doncic is very good and very smart but he doesn’t have that same gift.
