Pick up games!

Help me hash this out.

You have 4 captains that pick teams. You play up to 10 and you could probably do 7-8 games since that would be as much scoring as a 140-160 points which is typical of an all-star game. The four teams would play at the beginning in a tourney which guarantees everyone plays but at the end it would be just like the playgrounds. Winner stays on and you make new teams from the guys sitting out. If a guy gets tired he subs himself out. You have a few HOFer vote on an MVP based on overall performance. Hell, I don't even watch the NBA but I might tune in for this.

Turn basketball into soccer. 11 guys on each team. Huge stadium with 7 foot goalies.

Funny thing is that I was listening to the podcast from S&P where they talking about the All-Star game. I stopped the podcast when I got home just seconds before Parkins brought up the pick-up game idea. I heard it when I resumed listening this morning.
