Really looking forward to Sunday. It's going to be more competitive than past All-Star games.

I hope they compete but I can see where guys are fearful of being injured too. I just hope its not an alley oop festival.

Threw $100 on the underdog Team Stephen. They've got more guys who can shoot, better bench, and Giannis is going to do some crazy stuff.

I’ll watch the game tonight and enjoy it. I never really gave a shit about the rest of the weekend.

Well that should tell me not to ask but, as I lost an entire day yesterday I didn't see the dunk contest ... anything inneresting besides Nance's homage?

Dennis Smith Jr had the best dunk of the night but didn’t even make the finals.

That dunk was probably one of the best dunks in the contest's history. Everyone talks about VC back in 2000 but he only had two good dunks that year (the windmill and the one with mcgrady). The rest were meh. Jason Richardson had some nasty dunks couple years later that could compete against what Vince did.

I always thought the formula was:

1st Q: no defense, street ball moves, dunks, showmanship.
2nd Q: more of the same as.the bench guys get some time and try to shine.
3rd Q: things tighten up a bit
4th Q: legitimate basketball if the game is close.

The formula the last few years has been:

1st Q: no defense, uncontested dunks, uncontested threes
2nd Q: no defense, uncontested dunks, uncontested threes
3rd Q: no defense, uncontested dunks, uncontested threes
4th Q: no defense, uncontested dunks, uncontested threes
