Anyway, I look forward to this in the coming years. I’ve consistently said he won’t be a star but he will be good and it looks like that will be the case.

Summer league told me who the first and second team all rookie would be.

As i thought it would.

It also told me Ball wouldn't be shit.

Injury is the only reason you had a chance at that bet we made. But I won’t use that excuse to weasel out of it. Luckily I’m looking great on the Kyrie bet so it all works out.

Look at the past threads. Your all rookie teams are pretty off.

Giannis is a very humble young man but he's also a freak of nature. That is what has me sold on him. He's extraordinary talented but he's also humble enough to realize that he has more to learn. He has no issue whatsoever humbling himself in order to gain knoweldge.

Jayson Tatum is the guy that will take the league by storm. 2 years from now he will be in the All Star game. May be sooner.

Do you want to compare mine to yours. Its murder. I have at least 8 of the 10 guys that will be first or second tram. I also picked the rookie of the year. You didn't. You also didn't have Mitchell in there at all. I did. Ball was never going to be first team. He stinks and if wasn't for the hype and investment we'd look at him as Jerian Grant. He is that bad.

Since we are talking injury lets talk injury Fultz has been injured all year. He is better than Ball.

That’s cute. While he’s making his first all star game Mitchell will be making his mvp case.

I had Simmons as ROY. You didn’t until I reminded you he was a rookie. I win that one. I win most of our disagreements.

So you went from Mitchell not being First or 2nd team All Rookie to him being MVP? Quite the leap. Not the first time this sort of thing has happened either.

Nah i called it immediately. You waited til he was 10 games in (while subsequently watching Ball suck) before you thought that.

I had Simmons as a franchise player before he ever played a game. Again Summer league told me that.

You also have been wrong about Embiid every step of the way and Draemond Green is vastly overrated.

Second, he plays for the Bucks.

No thanks.

Wait this post might change my mind.

You don’t think he has multiple MVP potential and is likely to realize it?

Oh he is great. May win a few MVPs.

But that does not make him Lebron. l dont even like Lebron but he is going to end his career as a top 3 all time player. Greek Freak wont be in that picture when all is done.

Kevin Durant disagrees - he thinks Greek Freak could be one of the best players of all time.

Sometimes you have good opinions and sometimes you post like a fucking moron like this. And yeah I’m usually more civil than this with you but it’s getting fucking old having to repeat myself to you.

For the last time.. I don’t watch college basketball. I always fully admit my opinions are wildly uneducated when it comes to predraft analysis. I only judge players by the nba and literally nothing else. I had never heard of Donovan Mitchell a year ago and he wasn’t a top 10 pick. Of course I didn’t have him making all rookie first team. I literally didn’t know a thing about him.

Now I do. So let’s settle this. Who’s better going forward - him or Tatum? One word answer please. Mine is Mitchell.

LeBron has work to do but yeah he’s a top 5-7 player of all time. Giannis won’t likely end up that good. But he certainly has the talent to dominate the league for a decade. That’s what we are talking about when comparing him to LeBron

28 PER (Freak age 23) vs 31 PER (MJ age 24)

KD would know.

Tatum. Tatum plays on a better team and is the 3rd or 4th option on most nights. Sometimes 5th. He also is 2 years younger and is a more complete player even at a younger age.

What you do is bandwagon hunt. Anyone can wait for a guy to be good and then proclaim him good. Master of the obvious observations followed up by hyperbolic proclamations. I never saw Mitchell in college either but i did see him in guess what the Summer League.

You only jumped on his bandwagon once he began to REALLY show something. There isn't much required to that other than simply paying attention.

I’m pretty much the opposite of bandwagon hunting. Rondo and Kawhi I called back when they were nobodies and looked like they had very little chance to be stars.

But yes Mitchell is a little too hyped already. I may need to find someone else. But he’s definitely better than Tatum.

No he isn't. He is in a better situation.

There are a number of guys that you have seen that you flat get wrong.

I don't recall the Oladipo love at the time of the trade.

You are still my guy on this stuff but you aren't good on prognosticating.

I don’t think Mitchell is in a better situation. He’s asked to do a lot more than Tatum on a nightly basis and has to create and make more difficult shots nearly every possession.

Like I said, we now have our guys for this discussion. We’ll see in the coming years. Regardless of situation the cream always rises to the top.

Tatum has been my guy since he was a sophomore in high school. Debated with Bigfan about he and Thon Maker even back then. Never wavered and didn't add. Mitchell's usage is much higher and he is nowhere near the defender that Tatum is.

By the end of next year there will be no doubt.
