It's a great deal for LeBron, and he is treated like he's some god of philanthropy. He get's a ton of positive PR and a school that is basically a shrine for him for a very small initial investment. We will see what the results are on this. It basically seems like it's a charter school, and those have a fairly dubious track record.

His name and his money is attached to the success or failure of the school. That's a huge risk whether he's funding 25% or 100% of the school.
