And the thing of it for me is that guys like Jalen Rose and David Robinson may have inspired him by their similar deeds, and to think what he may inspire going forward. |

It's a great deal for LeBron, and he is treated like he's some god of philanthropy. He get's a ton of positive PR and a school that is basically a shrine for him for a very small initial investment. We will see what the results are on this. It basically seems like it's a charter school, and those have a fairly dubious track record. |

This was obvious when the media blitz that accompanied the school's opening neglected to do much of anything beside worship LeBron's cult of personality. Anyone who didnt see this as a PR sham is an idiot. |

What does this say about you that you're triggered by this? His name and his money is attached to the success or failure of the school. That's a huge risk whether he's funding 25% or 100% of the school. It is laughable that you or anyone else has an issue with him spending $2M of his own money annually and giving his time. I mean it's not exactly Trump University. |
