Just brutal refereeing tonight. This isn’t some bullshit game in January. Let these fucking guys play playoff basketball like they have most of the postseason

Bogut's all-world when it comes to flopping; dude starts his seven-foot-flop before the defender's even in frame.

Golden State being down only 8 seems crazy.

and that's with Draymond/Cook missing several easy shots following GS shutting down the Raps on the other end going into the half.

Feels a lot like game 2 where the Raptors should be winning by a lot more than they are. It's gonna be tough for Golden State to go on their usual run without Klay though and for Curry to maintain this kind of production.

Also completely agree with FF about the officiating. Calling ticky tack stuff up and down the court yet also missing some really blatant stuff.

The refs want GS to win for some reason so it will take an impressive 2nd half effort from the raptors tonight to win, even without Klay and Durant.

Raptors had no chance this series.

Refs are absolutely playing warrior favorite

Yet, late 3rd, raptors still up. Wow.

Still looks like warriors having a bad series, but who gives a shit. If raptors pull this off it will be insane. Lowrie, lenord and gasol are money.

Van Fleet gets fouled on the 3 but no call. If it was Curry auto foul.

Kawhi Leonard looks like he has his bounce back. Leg was dragging during the first couple of games. Rest of the team playing tight.

One way to beat the Raptors, ie, the post-Shaq Kobe Lakers strategy: Let Kawhi/Kobe go off but then shut down everything else. Instead of double/triple teaming Kawhi like they did in game 1 and having Gasol et al get going.

The talent that ltg is describing is not there. Embiid is great, and he has the talent to be one of the best players in the league. He does not have the talent to be one of the most complete players of the past 30 years. That’s simply not an accurate evaluation. He’s a classic 90/10 guy. 90% of what he brings is awesome, 10% is actively detrimental to winning. There’s nothing that Kawhi and Durant do while healthy and engaged that are detrimental to their team winning. The same cannot be said of Embiid.

And that’s when Embiid is healthy. Which he is less than half the time.

I said Center. There isn't a Center over the past 40 years that brings his skill set. That's why Mark Jackson said it. And he was right

Hakeem did everything Embiid currently does better than Embiid, and against better competition, and didn’t patriot out of games with soft and made up injuries for half his career. I’m not going to entertain the opinion that Embiid is more talented than Hakeem but “just hasn’t unlocked it” or whatever garbage you’re justifying the opinion with. It’s fucking ridiculous and should be reacted to as such. I think Kawhi is awesome but I’m not out here making an asshole of myself saying he’s more talented than Jordan

Get your shit together. You too Nardi.

Nardi is one of the few people on here (very few) that really knows what he is talking about.

Without looking anything up ( bet you would have to) Embiid shoots 3's better than Olajuwon. I also will guarantee that he is taller. I also will guarantee that his points and rebounds avg are better at the same age.

Those 3 things are in the door better. If you don't think so put $100 on it.

You never saw Akeem in 85 so you don't know what he was at the same age. You only know of the Akeem that took on Shaq. Really don't know that Akeem either. He was 33 or 34 years old at that point. There were a number of lean years in between that.

Akeem was great but its patently stupid to suggest that Embiid isn't as talented. He is

Bump.

He's a monster. Last night he could have had 60 if Philly was serious about scoring rather than chucking.

yep, Embiid could score at will vs ATL bigs. What I don't understand is the idea that he's some great defensive player. That must be all about 1v1 defense because his help defense was completely non existent last night. He made little to no effort to help out when Trae got in the lane.

Yep. Only thing preventing him from being the consensus top player in the League in a few years will be health.
