As far as being universally mocked it probably had to do more with being a Lance Stephenson fan than anything.

I need to take a step back, I think that you are right about Philadelphia (they need a shooter) because of continuity and continued growth and playing in the East. However, I don't see the Clippers being better than the Lakers. On offense, I think Kawhi and PG13 will struggle playing together. Defensively they will probably be great, but that matters most in the playoffs.

The steal of the offseason for the Lakers was Cousins (Cook a distant2nd). We saw him starting to look like the old Boogie at the end of the season before his quad injury. Their frontcourt is going to be the best in the NBA. They have quality shooters too. With Kuz likely going to the bench, their 2nd unit will be better than expected.

I'm predicting that the Lakers will be at least 3 games better than the Clippers during the season.

I will enjoy laughing at Draymond Green next season.

The Lakers D will be shitty. They also lack depth. Clippers have much better Depth and they also have a much better coach..

Kawhi is a better basketball player than Lebron James right now. Anthony Davis should be fine as should George.

We will see how it unfolds. Barring injury Philly should walk out of the East.
