i was busy watching an old episode of Mannix last night, what happened ?

Joe Mannix is confronted by Harry Elliott, with whom Mannix served in Korea and who was later court-martialed, on testimony from Mannix, for giving information to his captors while a prisoner of war. Elliott claims that he is going to put Mannix through the same ordeal he faced at the hands of the North Koreans, and gives Mannix a name that Elliott claims Mannix will be unable to hold back once he becomes a captive. Then Elliott's threats seem to come true when Mannix is offered a sizable sum of money for the name of an informant within an underworld organization - and is threatened with much worse if he refuses.

Age has nothing to do with "feeling it".

Miami has kinda walked through the playoffs. I'm not saying they haven't earned it, but I don't know what to make of it. Are they this much better than anybody in the East? Does their defense and the blossoming of Herro make them jump from #5 to #1?

Strangely enough Boston is the better team. They have outplayed Miami most of this series and the games have been close. Spoelstra is running laps around Stevens though. The talent is comparable but Spoelstra is exploiting Boston's main weakness which is Walker's shoddy defense.

I think the difference is Miami is cohesive and Boston isn't. Winning has a momentum onto itself. That's college rah-rah stuff but I think it applies to the Heat.

If by "bench" him you mean don't play him at all I'd say no don't do that. You have to play him. Shorten his minutes and don't play him down the stretch or a lot in the 4th quarter. Simple. If you lose that way at least you know you gave yourself the best chance to win. Imo. With Hayward back and looking good give Walker's minutes to him. These games are being won and lost because of the mismatches that he is presenting as a defender. There isn't really a matchup for him during this series. Better coaches make adjustments and til now Stevens hasn't made any unless you count the musical chairs that he seems to be playing at center.

Glad the greatest GM in history saw that Jimmy was the perfect fit to get the Heat into the Finals and mentor Bam into a star. I suspect Tatum’s on the Melo career path and this conference final is as close as he’ll ever get while he’s doomed to tour the league putting up meaningless stats as the #1 on mediocre teams.

Probably Lakers in like 5. But there is a small chance of a 2004 Pistons thing. I hope so.
