Fair criticism on the half the nba season comment. Gonna get to rededicate myself this year now that the Bulls have a real coach and new GM.

Agreed. I can't wait for the season to start.

How to compete defensively i would presume. He also will try to teach him how to run a team too. Rondo and Chris Paul are by far the 2 best at that in the current NBA.

Paul is great at aggravating teammates and getting trading.

He also is great at making teams play better than they had previously.

Of course Jokic is better than Embiid. Who would even attempt to debate that?

But, I’ll say again, if you wanna keep using 2020 All NBA Voting and MVP voting to determine this debate then it’s time for you to concede Jokic > Embiid. Got to pick a lane there brother.

Now you're using contracts as a means of comparison?

As far as Embiid and Jokic goes it isn't applicable. Embiid and Jokic are consensus 1-2 at their position. They are comparable. You can argue that.
In Mitchell's case you can't since he is MIA when it comes to All NBA. He is a no show where that is concerned.

A single tear of happiness streams down my smiling face.

I’ll get you there on Mitchell vs Tatum also. Don’t disappear on us again.

Another thing regarding Embiid and Jokic all of the NBA guys that I have ever heard compare the two take Embiid also.

I will concede this point however. Jokic had the better season last year. Embiid has to come on with it this year or I will concede on that one. Barring injury of course

You know I love the NBA debate stuff. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lot of NBA guys here. You have you ( hf the season after football) Wolf, Nardi, 312 (wish he would post more too) Shakes (who says a ton of dumbshit but at least he watches the games) and thats about it. For the most part the NBA threads lay dead most of the time and the Bulls threads tend to be a diss Reinsdorf fest. I will try and stick around though.

You have to check out Patrick Williams. I'm not trolling on him. He is the truth.

I'm shocked in this twitter and you tube age that he fell so far under the radar.

In the spirit of a new season and the hopes of increasing the discussion on this board I'm going to give the new LTG a chance. No more ignore.

I'm also looking forward to seeing Patrick Williams. Can't remember a player since Scottie who rose that much up the draft board in the two weeks leading up to the draft.

I agree Shakes. We disagree about a ton of shit but its obvious you love the game. Thats always a plus.

As far as Williams goes I just can't fathom how he slipped to 4 with all of the technology that is out on kids these days. Hell your avg 5th grader has a highlight tape lurking somewhere.

Plus unlike Pippen he actually played big time ball for a top ten team in the best conference in the country. Only thing I gather is that maybe Hamilton held him back in order to prevent him from being one and done.

He's probably worth 600 million, he makes more in endorsements than salary.

How about you take half your salary and let your employer hire someone better than you?

The bottom line said he’s the fourth MVP to start a season for three different teams. Rose and Lebron? Who else? No googling.

Would that include Nash? Started for Phoenix as the MVP then went to LA. But I'm not sure if his pre-MVP days, which include Dallas, would count here. I also don't know if he played for anyone other than LA after Phoenix.
