I didn't see anybody playing harder than they would have played had it been under the old format. It's just too fucking much with the 0-0 restarts every quarter. I like the creativity from NBPA president Chris Paul but the league needs to come up with something better.

Captains format absolutely must go. I don't give a shit about "Team LeBron" or "Team Durant," especially when one isn't playing due to injury and the other plays 4 total minutes and sits out the entire 2nd half.

Imagine being a 10 year old kid from New Orleans who's a brand new NBA fan. To you, Durant is a dinosaur at 32. He's been hurt since you first started watching basketball a couple years ago. All you care about is watching your guy Zion and the rest of the young guys who you know you'll be able to follow and grow up watching for a long time. These players should be celebrated just as much as James and Durant.

Go back to East vs West. I feel there's a little more emotion and intensity winning it for your conference as opposed to winning it for LeBron. Let the young kids from New York, Florida, wherever, see a squad of Western Conference players. Show them the kind of basketball they're missing when they're sound asleep as pacific time zone games are just tipping off.
