His penetration skills won't matter if he can't shoot and again he's a liability in the half court game, when defenses clamp down. He becomes one dimensional. Yes, he can morph into Bruce Bowen on defense and add value that way, but his ceiling is/should be way higher than whatever he does right now. I've got Morant, Young, Dame, Curry, Luka, and Irving above him right now. That changes once he learns to shoot. Might even compete with Luka if that ever happens.

Of those you named the only ones that I'd take are Irving, Luka, and Lillard. That's it.

He does need to shoot free throws better. He'd be better if he had a jump shot but Trae, Curry, and Lillard would be better if they actually attempted to play some defense too.. Curry and Lillard would be better if they ever learned to involve their teammates into the offense too.

With Simmons the good outweighs the bad and calling him a "liability" is fallacious since the team has been decidedly better since the moment he decided to suit up. He is one the primary reasons that they are one of the contenders in the East right now.
He is one of the most underrated players in the league right now.

It's odd how so many basketball "insiders" have suddenly began to shift and are talking about the Warriors are their second pick to come out of the West.

Couldn't even take his team to the playoffs last season. Bet against it 2 years ago (and was correct about it) and no one here dared bet me last season. Highly overrated as a basketball player.

Yep but no one is supposed to know   Definitely not willing to say here. Also outplayed by Morant in a must win game to make the playoffs last season. But no one is supposed to know that either.

Liability seems more right than ever. And even if he came back today he'd still be the same flawed player he was for the first four years of his wasted career. The anti-Kobe. Pure cancer

He could have kept his team's season alive if he wasn't afraid of shooting free throws. That's why he passed up a dunk. Why is he bad at free throws? Because he refuses to work on his game.

Can't think of a better application of the word liability.

Steph Curry is one of the worst defenders in the NBA. That makes him a LIABILITY. If he were able to guard his position as opposed to needing help all of the time Golden State makes the playoffs last season.

You still wouldn't bet on them to make the playoffs. By the way did you ever contribute that 50 spot you owe me to moderator's war chest?

Just asking a question?

i'm good. You had the chance last season and ducked it too. West is weaker this year. And they are currently 4-0

I don't remember discussing it with you last year but I don't blame you for ducking it this year. Just surprised since that post I quoted of yours made it sound like you were currently offering it.

I threw it out last year and there were no takers. If Klay was not scheduled to return I'd take the action in a heartbeat. Betting against Steph Curry has served me well. I'm not going to do it with Klay scheduled to return. Now if you want to make a wager as to where you expect them to finish then you might have action. Depending on the spot of course
