You're just nitpicking here mate. When someone says 10x like I said it's an obvious exaggeration intended to imply you're taking Luka in this case all day everyday against a guy like Zion.

When we redraft 2019 in three years the consensus no 1 will be Morant. I'd pick Zion first if I needed to win a hot dog eating contest.

As I said, your Zion takes will age poorly. Nbd, we all have takes that have aged poorly.

Zion is a summer blockbuster while Luka is the Godfather. Nbd, we all are enticed by dumb fun once in awhile.

I wish you lots of luck and good fortunate with your “Zion will eat himself out of the league in three years” take

That's not my take. My take is he's overhyped and at best will be an above average player.

I look forward to your "Well an MVP is an above average player, technically" backpedaling 2-3 years from now

Oh right, it was when you said Luka was 10x the player Zion was. It was nothing about me saying Zion would win MVP. Yeah, not sure that's the one you want to bump this year

Your last post included an embedded prediction that Zion would be MVP 2-3 years from 2020. Are you still taking the overweight dude with a bunch of injury concerns over Luka? Wow.

I never said I'd take him over Luka. I've always been a Luka guy. My issue was with you saying Zion wasn't a comparable prospect and wasn't in his universe. When Zion has played he's been awesome. Luka's been better, but nowhere near 10x better. Both have been disappointments overall since that debate. Don't think one of us can victory lap the other after how this season finished. Zion's team finished better

But doesn't that undermine your argument? He only played 29/82 games

Nothing is disappointing about Luka, he's a top 5 player.

All these gun puns must be triggering to the left.

Is this the guy that Bernstein was creaming over today? "He got his own rebound on a three point attempt and dunked it" (splatting semen sound effect).

A top 5 player missing the playoffs isn't disappointing? How often does that happen?

The Mavs suck, Luka is still top 5. Lebron has missed the playoffs 3 or 4 x.

Nets screwed the Mavs pretty good. Luka probably knew from day 1 Kyrie wasn't going to work out. He was the best player in the league through December. The frustration got to him and he ended up being the best cryer in the league.
