Safe to say Chris Paul won't ever get a ring now.

I really hope the Bulls blow this whole thing up. I’d enjoy watching Dame and LaVine in Portland. I don’t think they’re giving up #3 just for LaVine though. I love RJ Barrett too.

I'm all for blowing it up too. I suspect Special K will double down on basketball hell

It's clear he's in over his head. Almost every move has been bad.

Zach LaVine turns 30 next season, has had multiple lower body injuries/surgeries.

9 seasons in the NBA, here's the entirety of Zach LaVine's playoff history in those 9 seasons:

Image

4 playoff games in 9 seasons, 1-3 record, 27 for 63 shooting, 42%

and LaVine's contract goes from $40 mil in 2023-2024 through 2026-2027 season, when he'll make $50 mil on a player option year.

lucky to get a 2nd round pick for LaVine

Is he all that different from Beal? Seemingly he could net a hardass, dickbag, over-the-hill PG who allegedly banged Kim K.

SAS aggressively hitting on Scoot Henderson’s sisters is an interesting development in espn’s coverage.

That's a pretty cheap deal in 2023. Now that they're keeping him and not rebuilding, see what you can get for DeRozan. I don't want the guy who slows things down and can't shoot 3s on the team anymore.

The Paw got two lumps of coal, a bag of root vegetables, and a used post-it note.

I thought that guy was gonna be good.

Just wait awhile, he will probably turn into an all star at his next location/team.

If the news that Lillard actually requested he be traded a week ago as Marc Spears says, the Jerami Grant signing makes even less sense.

What really sucks is that if Lonzo Ball had been healthy and the Bulls made some runs to the semi-finals, maybe even the conference finals, at 25, Lonzo would be such an attractive player and contract ($20 million per season) to move if you wanted to get a Damian Lillard. I don't think the Heat or Nets could compete with a Lonzo (25), Coby White (23), Patrick Williams (21), Ayo Dosunmu (23), 1st Round picks, and pick swaps package. The Bulls would be forming their own big 4.

Do you have an imaginary TV? Lonzo was disappointing during his short time with the Bulls. The myth building over this guy is astounding.

Okay, Terry. No, I don't have an imaginary television. You're the one who needs to go the basketball reeducation camp. If you think Lonzo was disappointing during his 2 months with the Bulls, you need a new television. They were 1st in the East at 27-13 when he went down. He's not Lillard for fuck's sake but he could play elite defense, move the ball, and shoot 40%+ from 3. I'm not saying they'd be NBA champions, I'm saying Chicago would be a much more attractive destination had this team been healthy and made some semi-finals appearances. Watch what the final offer the Heat or Nets make. It won't be much.

Gotta dump Lavigne while he's still tradeable. He could easily get hurt next year or will probably be mediocre again so bye Felicia.

Yeah, agree with Wolfey. Lonzo made the team go. Oh well, given AK's basketball hell strategy, we're on track to sign a DJ Augustine type PG for like 180M over 8 years.

The Suns did a great job over the weekend filling in their depth with minimum guys who can defend and shoot the 3. They also got Eric Gordon to take a pay cut. I wish Rose would've came to join his former AAU teammate and try for a ring. I wonder once Morant comes back from his suspension if Rose will be cashing checks on the bench. Marcus Smart is on the team now too.

Jaylen Brown signed to a 5 yr 304 million deal. Richest deal in NBA history.

What in the hell are the Celtics doing? Thats terrible.

Brown's owed $70 million is year 5

Two summers ago, the salary cap was $112 million. This summer it's $136 million. It'll be $170 million soon after the league negotiates a new TV deal. $300 million will be normal and Zach Lavine's contract will be a bargain before you know it.

I'm not so sure. ESPN is tanking. T-T-T-tanking.

Just a great give and take between elite athletes and the mindset of the NBA. Really fascinating.
