That just means his body will breakdown faster. These guys never last long term.

Yao Ming - Done after a few good seasons
Shawn Bradley - Literally paralyzed
Manute Bol - Literally dead

I rest my case.

I don't doubt he has the tools to be a generational talent, but I'd be shocked if plays 2-3 seasons without some sort of catastrophic injury.

Giannis was like 6'9" at the time and continued the grow. This kid is already 7'5".

there is no fucking way victor ends up like giannis.

durant never got big. he got stronger, but he STILL looks like his legs will snap in half when he plays.

Breakout game. 38. When he hangs on the rim and drops, it's like a 6 inch drop.

People gasp when he falls to the floor. Cuz he's a skeleton. There might be a possibility guys are afraid to test him. They don't want to be the guy that breaks him in half.

Guys like Doncic and Wemby start playing in the pro Euro leagues at like age 16. They're accustomed to playing against bitter 30 something guys who never made it in the NBA and are trying to injure them every time these kids touch the ball. I think they'll be ok against pussies like Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks, the Morris twins et al. Recall Markieff going at Jokic and getting his ass kicked right out of the league.

Wonder what kind of odds you can get on Wemby MVP and Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year and First Team ALL-NBA? for this his rookie year, individually and as a parlay.

Sports journos love to vote for a story. Embiid's out as an MVP candidate, you can't shit the bed in the playoffs like that over and over and repeat. Jokic is the MVP but, like Lebron during his prime, he won't win it when he should. who's left, Giannis? Steph? Booker? Tatum?

Maybe SGA, but if the voters are willing to vote for SGA on what's likely a mid-40's win OKC team, why not go all the way and vote for Wemby on team with possibly a similar record. If SGA gets OKC over 50 wins and meets the games played requirement, then he'll at least be top 5 this year in MVP voting again.

Doncic a perennial also ran for MVP. Austin Reaves? AD? Lebron one last time? If Wemby gets the Spurs to above 500, so 42-40, and is dominating on both ends of the court along the way....also don't they have a 65 game min now for MVP candidates--that could knock out Doncic's perennially injured ass and probably Lebron eventually too, as he's more interested in catching Jordan in titles than another MVP.

Doncic wins MVP this season. I don't think there will be any surprises -- like Jayden Daniels all of a sudden becoming the leading Hesiman candidate after the weekend is over.

they seem to be getting beat by 30 or so every night

is this like the Angels where Ohtani and Trout are other worldly stars but they don't make the playoffs?
