Zion Williamson coming up big in the play in game. But as usual also coming up injured.

NBA All-Time Points-Per-Game in Playoffs Leaders:
---------------------------------------------------------
5. Durant 29.4
4. Iverson 29.7
3. Luka 32.5
2. MJ 33.4
1. ZION 40.0

Only 4 seasons in and Zion already eclipsing Jordan

The Celtics are historically great. I read a Ringer article a few days back about them having more 30+ point leads than 10+ point deficits during the regular season. They're 122 ppg scoring offense is #1 in the history of the NBA. And the thing I like most --- 7 players on their roster averaged at least 4 three point attempts per game.

Don't sleep on the Suns though. Beal's finally healthy and looking terrific. They were 2-0 versus Denver in the regular season with their big 3. You need to lean on scorers and the Suns have 3 really great ones --- plus Eric Gordon and Grayson Allen nailing down 3s.

Celtics nuggets would be a good bet.

Celtics window is now. This year. This is it for them.

Bucks over OKC in finals.

76ers take out Knicks along the way and it will be blissful.

No matter the coach, Philly still looks clueless. 1 -2-2 zone is giving them the flux

Sixers doing what LeBron's Lakers lacked the cojones to do:

tanking to get the easier match-up in round one.

Maxey is a great story, but if he's your Second best player you aren't winning anything. And I hate to say it but it's going to be tough to win with Embiid as your best player too. Not because of his game, skill level or heart (as some speculate) but because of his health. He,'s injury prone and always hurt come playoff time. No way you can win because you never know if he is going to be injured, or playing while hurt come playoff time. He's just not dependable. And I doubt if he ever will be.

I’m confused. The Sixers tanking would mean they have to play ANOTHER play-in game to try for the 8th seed — and if they get it, they’re flying to Boston.

This Celtics roster too dependent on Kristaps Porziņģis. Ask Luka how relying on Kristaps in the playoffs
works out. Dončić shipped K-Taps out of town for a reason, as Celtics fans about to discover for themselves.

Philly Definitely not tanking. NY is a much easier matchup for them than Boston

what an odd finish. the sixers having to eek out this win doesn't give me any confidence for their playoffs lifespan.

If Kyle Lowry has anything left they might have a chance to get to the Conference Finals. Don't see a Finals appearance. Nick Nurse is one of the best coaches in the league and good enough to steal a series.

we have to play the heat. i dont think the sixers wanted the bulls. i said the 1st half they werent really trying. i have little desire to watch us get dismantled by miami, but its going to happen :/

Got it. The #1 seeded Celtics (literally the highest scoring team in regular season history) is an easier opponent than the injury-depleted Knicks. This is a very dumb take. Do you just hate the Celtics, hate the city of Boston? What’s the deal?

Minnesota Phoenix is probably the best matchup of the 1st Rd.

Yes

Not as much as the Red Sox or even don't really hate the Celtics much anymore. Don't like their GM/overrated ex-coach, he should've backed Ime more. Seems like they broomed Udoka out the door with a quickness. Hate the fucking Red Sox, even more than the Yankees. Bruins-Wings never really rivals. Pats is Pats, looks like they're gonna suck for a while so no need to waste energy hating a last place team.

shite teams / fan bases:

Cubs
Duke
Red Sox
Notre Dame (esp people who didn't go there but are huge ND football fans, wtf is that)
Avs were hated for a long time, but now in a diff conference.
Any team Lebron's on.
Jets fans are super annoying, but who cares? they're the freaking Jets. Same for Cowboys and their fans.
Every SEC fanbase

Solid list. US womens' soccer team and anybody who'd run or cheer a marathon, unless you're a Kenyan.

Doh! Forgot the USWNT; they belong on the Mr Rushmore tier with Cubs/Duke/Red Sox. but then no one pays them any mind unless they're losing to high school students or getting out-kicked by Sweden.
