I really, really hope Pax makes a serious offer for him, though I think its highly unlikely. I really like the team we have now but Im not sure we have enough to win a championship in the next 3-4 years unless Lou, Ben, or Tyrus really really step up to that superstar level, which I dont necessarily see happening. (By superstar I mean like top 5 in the NBA). Kobe is the best player since MJ retired and I think he would thrive with the Bulls with the right supporting cast. He just doesnt seem like Pax's or Skiles' type of player, so Im guessing its nothing more than a pipe dream and he will unhappily remain with the Lakers 2 more years. |
