I posted this in the NCAA basketball section too but it's just as interesting to NBA guys.

This guy has a ton of influence in the whole game of basketball.

Here is the original article too. http://www.gq.com/sports/profiles/200706/william-wesley-worldwide-wes-nba-basketball?currentPage=1

It's a great look behind the scenes of how basketball works.

Would love to see the NCAA knock this guy down a notch.

And I am 100% sure not "EVERYONE" likes Wes after the Lebron thing last year.

Wes is like an Alderman, you pay him before you need him or you can't talk to him, and then when you do need him you can't pay him.

Except, Wes wasn't involved in that. Lebron and Maverick Carter basically froze him out of their circle. That whole thing was Maverick Carter's show, with Lebron as the lapdog.

The best chance for that is to go after Kentucky. They just need an opening and it will show up at some point.

The NCAA needs to do something about AAU. I know that people think that the NCAA is corrupt, but the true corruption happens and is caused by AAU.
