I didnt realize they paid him to go away. I thought it was an unpaid suspension or voided contract. I know they refused to give him a playoff share.

I don't think so. At what point can the Rocket's just void his contract? There has to be some sort of recourse for a team if a player just refuses to do anything. I know deals are guaranteed, but you at least have to show up, right?

At some point didn't the Mavs do that with Odom?

I'm pretty sure they paid Odom, and just told him to go home. He actually showed up though. White hasn't done a thing.

 I guess.

The Mavs/Clips game I went to last year he was eating popcorn and chillin at the announcer's table 20 minutes before tip off when every other player on both teams was warming up.

Wizards without John Wall: 5-28

Since he returned: 5-3

John Wall = MVP

I think it's clear that Evan Turner is pretty much "just a guy".

Agreed.

Yeah, I had high hopes for him this year, but everytime he takes a step forward, he seems to take two steps back. He's SOLID, but will never be an all star.

John Wall is better than Evan Turner. Neither are very good.

I wouldn't say Wall "isn't very good". Not as good as people hoped he'd be, but he aiite...

well, 'nailed it' would seem to imply that not only had he closed the gap but he had surpassed it...you know, your original prediction/thread title ?

Turner is clearly having his best season , and still his numbers are just on part with Wall's

they were pretty damn close a few weeks back if i recall

i actually like their team, i fully realize being that being 3rd best in the East is the tallest midget award, but I thought they could at least rise above the rest of the East trash and separate themselves a little

They've been hovering around .500 the past few weeks, but every time they have a chance to go over, they lose. It's like they are cursed.

don't look now but john wall is averaging 20.0/8.5 a game this season. for a .500 team....

derrick peaked in 09-10 when he was shooting 49% (!!!!) and averaging 20/6....he got the MVP for averaging 24/7 whilst shooting 44.5%.... and suffice to say the shooting % (and games played/season) have all gone steadily downhill since then.

so is it fair to ask if you'd rather have gotten john wall than derrick rose? it seemed asinine to ask early on.... but now with the injuries and/or the diminishing returns since the bulls shot their wad in 10-11, is john wall going to have the better rest of the career than derrick rose?

Sixers doing their best to be worse than Milwaukee.

17 straight losses, yikes.. I blame the trading of Evan Turner for this.

I see no way they won't have a worse record than the Bucks, the Bucks won again last night. :x
