Troof be told, I'm still more worried about the Pacers than the 6ers in the playoffs.

The Pacers will goon it up just like last year, but will ultimately be defeated. I'd like to see them draw the Heat in the 1st round and hopefully rough them up a bit.

has Jeff Foster even played this year? he'll just come back for the playoffs for the sole purpose of roughing some people up

It's unbelievable how much more confident Turner plays when he's starting. It's like a different player.

I'm just glad to be free of the bondage that was having to try to defend Wall play basketball. It hurts my eyes to watch. It's like the opposite of watching Rubio or Nash play.

Wasn't Wall supposed to be Derrick Rose with a jump shot?

Yup, he was. I don't see him ever being much better than he is now.

I was all over the Tyreke Evans bandwagon too. Disappointing.

He's probably just one of those guys who needs to feel like he's playing for something. He's not gonna make a bad team good, but he'll make a good team better.

I think the big problem with him is that he doesn't make any team better. He puts up good numbers and can make good plays but I just never got the feeling that his team was at an advantage because they had him. Compare that to the Kentucky team this year and there are at least 2 players on that team that do make others better. Rose certainly did, and almost won it all with a team that was far less skilled than Walls.

That's the interesting part about basketball. Great players can sometimes be almost counterproductive to being a great team.

Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard?

Carmelo? Yes.
Howard? I'm not sure. I need to see him on a second team.

No he was supposed to be Rose with better vision. His shot has always been seen as a weakness.

you guessed. its dumb to predict what any college player will do in the nba. you need to see the real thing before you say what you think. it starts with a glass of whine and a sly reacharound

It's not a prediction if you wait and see.

I think that was already said in this thread by me, but maybe not. Turner started off kinda slow this year and had quite a shooting slump but he's turned it around as of late.

Do you think White will ever play an NBA game? Ever?

I don't think so. At what point can the Rocket's just void his contract? There has to be some sort of recourse for a team if a player just refuses to do anything. I know deals are guaranteed, but you at least have to show up, right?

John Wall hasn't played at all for the Wizards this season due to a knee injury. He hasn't been cleared to practice, but he's hoping to return in mid to late January.

At some point didn't the Mavs do that with Odom?

They de-activated Lamar Odom near the end of last season, paying him to go away. He didn't want to play in Dallas from the getgo.
