This salary cap explosion is just insanity. 10-12 Million for Snell?!?

Bucks plan to move quickly to re-sign Tony Snell, per sources

The Milwaukee Bucks are optimistic about coming to terms on a new deal with restricted free-agent guard Tony Snell, league sources told ESPN.

Sources told ESPN that the Bucks plan to move aggressively to come to terms with Snell once free agency begins Saturday at 12:01 a.m. ET. Deals can't officially be signed until a leaguewide moratorium is lifted July 6.

ESPN's Zach Lowe reported Friday that Snell is in line for an annual salary in the $10 million to $12 million range with the Bucks, whom he joined in October via a trade with the Chicago Bulls for former NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams.

Snell was selected No. 20 overall by Chicago in the 2013 NBA draft and had his best pro season after joining the Bucks, shooting nearly 41 percent from 3-point range last season and averaging a career-best 29.2 minutes per game.

In six games against the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the playoffs, Snell averaged 10 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 50 percent from the field and 51.6 percent from 3-point range.

Shit coach for a "Perpetually shitty cynic poster" Match made in heaven if you ask me. Should be enough shit to go around in that one.

Your assertion that he'd be a "shit coach" is about as much of an upset as Hulk Hogan's winning of a match via his clothesline and leg drop manuevers.

I agreed with you. I had a conversation on here with someone about Kidd. They had Kidd as a better coach than Thibbs. Cannot recall who it was...

Please he got more out of his team last year than the almighty Thibs got out of his. Kidd made the playoffs with two rookies and Tony Snell starting. He isn't the problem. That isn't an overly talented team once you get past Giannis. He will get another coaching gig.

Thibs is winning with a better roster. Kidd will resurface.

He’s failed twice next now. He might get one more shot but that’ll be it.

He wasn't fired from the Nets. He left voluntarily. Their team isn't all that talented. Over 90% of the coaches will be fired at some point. Nature of the gig.

Seems that the Greek Freak wasn't on board with Kidd being whacked.

Barkley was on AM1000 yesterday. He seemed to think without Kidd the Bucks are a team to watch i.e. could knock out the Cavs.

That's interesting. I didn't really think he was the problem but maybe he was. I don't see a lot of high end talent on that squad besides the Freak. Bledsoe is cool but he isn't a viable secondary option IMO. When Parker comes back they should be better. Saw someone suggest that the Freak should be moved to the 5 in order to create matchup problems against certain teams. Don't like Middleton at all. Shoots to much last I remember of him.

Chuck mentioned Jabari coming back a lot as part of his opinion.

I've watched a bit of them this year and it seems to me they have under achieved. I don't know enough to know that they
are being coached poorly but their defense is spotty and they have entirely way too many turnovers. They have enough
talent to be in the middle of the East playoff race rather than struggling for an 8 spot. Getting Parker back should help spread
the floor better, assuming he is 100%. I know they have held him back until now to try to get him back fully healed.

I know that this is a Bucks thread, but someone please explain to me how many see Kidd being fired is a good thing, but Scott Brooks is still drawing a basketball related check?
