Not a big deal when he is already shut down for the season.

Also, this has to be one of the worst contracts handed out in awhile, right? Just bad. REAL bad.

Epically bad, the GM should be fired. I really hope they do, I don't trust him with this pick coming up. Supposedly there will be new owners in place soon after the season.

The DB and Hawg avatars look like they are dancing together when you post right after each other.

Announcement on their sale is more than likely coming this afternoon.

Any chance they leave Milwaukee?

Yes, but not immediately; new ownership (which I think is local) will give it a go and then if they can't get a new arena, they're out. I still don't think they need one.

What (if any) locations are being discussed?

Nothing's been discussed because Herb Kohl has owned the team to this point and never would have let the team leave Wisconsin. I don't think this new group has any of the fox-in-the-henhouse tendencies of the group of powerful Oklahoma City businessmen who insisted that they wouldn't leave Seattle, but if they can't get out of the Bradley Center in five years, I'm sure they'll have to look around. Seattle's the big one, and Vancouver Canucks ownership makes occasional noises about getting back in the NBA business.

From what I understand, ole Herbie is going to donate shit pot of what he makes for a new arena. He bought the team for 18 million in 85 and is selling for 550 million. Everything I am hearing is a new arena will be pretty much in place once the sale is announced, but they will not be moving.

I thought the sale is contingent upon the new owners agreeing to stay in Milwaukee, mainly because of what happened with Seattle/OKC.

Hawger, you watch a bit of college hoops, right? Who's your guy in this upcoming draft with a top 4 pick?

Mixed reviews of him as a senator, but man, the guy loves his state.

Kohl would not sale the team to anybody that was going to move it, now if there is a problem getting the new arena I am sure there is something written in there that they can move it. But, Herb is going to make sure this happens, he wants his name on that building.

I think Jabari Parker is a can't miss at the next level, but I love Randle's game and somebody is going to get a really good player whereever he is drafted. Embied(sp?) is a concern to me with his back and the troubles he had with it this year, he couldn't even make it thru the college season. Wiggins had flashes but I didn't see the consistency I would like from him.

He knew he had to sale this team in order to get a new arena, the people would have never done anything to help get the arena built as long as he owned the team. You are correct, he wants to leave his mark in his home town. By the way, he and Selig were college roommates.

He almost sold the Bucks to Jordan before realizing Jordan would move them to Las Vegas. Oh, what fun that would have been, when M. Jeff stayed out too late one night and ownership transferred to some guy named "Tommy the Trick."

I agree with pretty much all of that. Which unfortunately means the Bucks are probably going to draft Embiid :(

I would love an NBA team in Las Vegas. That way the oddball T'Wolves in the west geographically can move to the East and actually compete.

Agreed Jabari is the can't miss prospect. Randle will be good too.

They've got to get the T Wolves out of the west no matter what.

But a Vegas team would be interesting.

It doesn't really matter quite so much in the NBA where you play a fairly balanced schedule. You never visit a team fewer than once or more than twice, and moving the Sonics from Seattle to Oklahoma City moved two road games from Pacific Time to Central Time. Logistically, they're fine, though it sucks from a competitive standpoint, and it's not typical for Minnesota sports teams to be rivals with Denver, Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, and Portland.

I resent the T-Wolves for being part of the reason the North Stars moved. Wouldn't share the Target Center, those bitches.

Poor guy...
Quote:
Clippers ship Jared Dudley to Bucks

The Los Angeles Clippers have traded forward Jared Dudley to the Milwaukee Bucks for Carlos Delfino and Miroslav Raduljica, according to sources.

The Bucks also get the Clippers' 2017 protected first-round pick while the Clippers will receive a future second-rounder from Milwaukee, a source told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Dudley was part of the Clippers' big summer of 2013 offseason haul, but the 3-point shooting acumen he displayed with the Phoenix Suns failed to make the move to the Clippers.

Delfino, an eight-year veteran, missed the entire 2013-14 season as he recovered from right foot surgery.

The 7-foot Raduljica played 48 games and started two in his first season in the United States. The 26-year-old Serb averaged 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
