If they got him, they might be good. That would then make them the Lakers, and LA already has one of those.

I liked Artest's idea of them moving to San Diego. They need their own market.

Weren't they already there before? As long as Sterling is the owner, they are fucked.

Yeah, they were. I'm sure SHARK will fill us in with the details.

...trade Baron Davis to the Cavs.

I'm sure this is already posted somewhere else.

Just saw this. The deal is basically Baron Davis for Mo Williams. Two teams just switching their garbage around.

There was a story over the weekend about the Sacramento Kings possibly moving to Anaheim and playing home games at HONDA Center where the NHL Anaheim Ducks play. I guess they have a rotten lease arrangement with ARCO Arena, the team's home since 1985 when they relocated from Kansas City, and the Maloof Brothers haven't been successful trying to upgrade their own facilities.

As for the Clippers, I think ever since they moved from San Diego to Los Angeles in 1984, that franchise has made one bad move after another. I remember they used to play their home games at the Los Angeles Sports Arena when they moved initially and why they call STAPLES Center home along with the Lakers baffles the hell out of me. In my opinion, if there's any team that should be playing in Anaheim, it's the Clippers, not the Kings.

And Baron is so motivated to play normally, i'm sure he'll be extra motivated to play for the Cavs

At least he proabably wouldnt be the first player the Cavs owner would boo...

isn't he blind? i was going to say he could just go by whenever there's a loud clank on the rim, but that's pretty much the entire team

Actually, Dan Gilbert, the current Cavaliers' owner should be fitted for a straitjacket. The Cavs' former owner, Gordon Gund, was indeed blind...

Wrong Douchebag. The trade included the Clippers 2011 #1 (unprotected) draft pick. The trade has NOTHING to do with Baron and everything to do with the Cavs trying to rebuild through the draft.

is Davis that bad that they'd give up what will likely be a pretty good pick in addition to him for Mo Williams? i guess so
