It's really sad too 'cause I think he's a great coach who's never really been able to show it consistantly.

On the bright side, back to the broadcast booth where he does a solid job as well...

At this point in his career, it makes sense to take over a team that's on the cusp of greatness. Perhaps a team like the Clippers.

KS, if Turner Sports calls for Doug Collins, answer it. I said it last night on Facebook. If Collins goes back to TNT, he'd be better than Reggie Miller.

I may just have to sign up for Facebook to get me a fill of some SHARK!!

If you follow SHARK on Facebook, there's a cute 1 year old who's prominently featured. Baby Rose. No relation to the Bulls' Derrick Rose...

The Sixers might be GREAT in a few years, but I'm never in favor of extreme gutting like they are doing

I'm assuming you like Philly's approach though.

Oh I love their approach. Any team in the East that wants to fuck things up is good with me.

 I'm sure Cardinals and Brewers fans feel the same way about a team in their division.

i don't see it working. how many players come into the NBA with season ending injuries and surgery and have great careers? and they're banking on 2 players to do that. or i guess either one since they'll have both but it seems like a really dumb gamble.

I like what they did with their first pick but they confused me after that. I thought they were in a great position to compete this year if they wanted to. The 3 year tanking strategy doesn't make sense to me.

The Sixers are an afterthought to their new ownership group, which is more concerned with the New Jersey Devils and the master lease to the Prudential Center up the turnpike in Newark. The Sixers, meanwhile, pay rent to Comcast and the Flyers. Wouldn't be surprised to see them run on a shoestring budget, to be honest.

They really need to go over the top this year. Go 2-80. Lose a game by 100 just for shits and giggles. Do a "Be the 9th man in our next home game!" promotion.

He's a Cubs fan, so he probably thinks this is the only way to eventually have a contending team.

i hear the raiders are going to visit the sixers locker room before their next game on keys to victory.

key one - when you celebrate too soon, make sure you have a veteran who can call a time out before you get penalized.

key two - remember key one.

by the way, i'm making that up about the raiders. they're laughing at the sixers too.
