wow, the nets. this series better be a snoozer. i would really like to see the sixers get into the conference finals before the team inevitably has to be broken up.

I’m not at flexing levels at all, this is just the first round. But sweeping the Nets *without* Embiid today made me quite happy.

The 2nd round hasn’t been friendly since we had AI.

Rookie coach in Boston though. Doc has got to get it done.

Looks like Victor Oladipo's career might be over.

Harden and Morey need to be next. And Embid has to be on a hot seat next year. Especially with Jokic showing up big with finally a healthy team.

I do not understand why anyone would want Harden on their team.

If you owned a chain of strip clubs in NBA cities I could see it.

Embiid had a bad game but he didn't have a bad series. The same could not be said for Tatum in the Finals last year. He can come back from this. He's far from a bum. Instead of saying "me and James need help" he means, "I need help".

Rumor has it the 1987-88 Bulls had an MVP that had never made it to the Conference finals. Might be a couple other guys, I'd have to look.

Glenn couldn't win, and the NBA was finally tired of being conned by one of the most overrated coaches in NBA history. Stan Van Gundy is #1 with a bullet.

If not Mark Jackson, then Nick Nurse imo.

Def seems like it is time that Mark Jackson got another shot at being coach

He already has a posh gig. And he's used to it. Be a step down unless he really really thinks he can reach the mountaintop.

His name always seems to come up, so it seems he is interested. I would bet if offered a job he takes it.

I would try to see if they can get a star player plus top level secondary players for Embiid. Embiid is still youngish but plays an old man partial schedule due to his injury history. I'd trade for a healthier star to build around.

Bulls should offer Derozan and 1st round picks for the next 5 years. could work.

Five picks sounds nice but I wouldn't do DeRozan if I were Philly. Maybe you think about sending a quick feeler to Memphis about Morant now that he's taking a beating nationally and is looking at losing 25%-50% of next season. If I'm Memphis I'm not doing that but I think Philly (and the whole league) should try to see if Memphis is open to talking. If you deal with Memphis though you won't be dealing from a position of strength.

They could try to see if they can get Trae Young plus some prospect plus picks. Or maybe SGA and Giddey. Just throwing names out there. I don't think you can win with Embiid, his peak seems to have passed and you didn't do enough to capitalize. Move on before he starts to become of those guys who gets paid 50 mil to play 20 games a year.
