right. they'd gain a lot of fans going up against the heat, too. it'd be a fun match up. |

They're only 2 1/2 behind the Hawks for the 5th spot. I know Thibs is the hot name out there right now for coach of the year, but I think Collins deserves some consideration. Did anyone actually figure this bunch as a playoff team? |

Bad loss to the Kings yesterday. Doesn't look like they will catch the Hawks now. But if Joe Johnson misses a bunch of time, they might be able to do it. |

I think they could maybe take a game from the Magic if they face them in the first round and are healthy. |

got my wish; but careful what you wish for. i'd be happy with 2 wins in this series, make the heat work and give them a little doubt in themselves. |

i've seen enough of him. although when i had courtside seats to their warmup to a game i went to months ago, i yelled out "I want 30 tonight, Andre!" and he got 27. maybe i should be his personal coach. |

he worked out similarly to dalembert although he had more upside. just never developed a jump shot that he needed to. has a decent inside game and has skills, physical, and athletic. he's built great. he just never climbed to that next level. |

10-3 with a 4 game lead in the Atlantic already. Dont worry Zack I won't say anything yet but if this keeps up I'm gonna come back here saying how much I like them, resulting an immediate 10 game losing streak. |

What the heck happened to Philly? They are in a free fall right now. They might actually be the best option for the Bulls in the first round if they are able to hold off Milwaukee. |

Right now, the Sixers would be the Bulls' 1st round opponent, according to NBA.com. The Knicks OT win might mean a date with the Heat in Round 1 instead in a possible 2-7 matchup. Have fun w/that, New York! |

You were creating this when I commented in the Bucks Solid thread. They aren't going to make it IMO. 8 road games, NYK holds the tie breaker against them and the Bucks are pulling their typical strong push at the end. #9, #9. |

A Doug Collins coached team quitting down the stretch?! Who could have ever predicted such a thing?? Oh wait, everybody on the board except Nas. |

They got off to a fast start, complete with a big win over the Bulls at what's now called the Wells Fargo Center. Talk about a distant memory now. |

yeah doesn't shock me at all. i knew they'd lose to the magic again; they haven't beaten a good team in months and they don't belong in the playoffs at this point. there's no purpose at all for them to make the playoffs. they made the playoffs last year, and with the same players, they've regressed. they need a closer. |

Or Phil Jackson to take them to Point C. |

The way they're playing, they could be fodder for either the Bulls or Heat as the #8 seed in the Eastern Conference. |

Sixers are in trouble. Their last 5 games are on the road, including a most likely #8 spot battle against Milwaukee. I'm calling it right now. It's going to be Bucks/Bulls in first round. |

It's going to be Bucks/Bulls in first round. That would be fine by me, Douchebag. The Bulls have to beat Benedict LeBron's Heat yet again in Miami or it could be a likely first round date vs. the Knicks in a #2 vs. #7 matchup that won't be a sweep. |

Bulls can lose Thursday against Benedick Lebron and still have first seed. Come down off the ledge. |

I like Doug a lot. God, he just burns out so quickly though. I can't blame him here though. Like I said, the Bynum deal has ruined the Sixers. |

I was surprised he took the job in the first place. Even before the trade, that team was going nowhere. Hiring a 60-something coach didn't make sense at all, for both sides. |
