Seems to be the next "big move" on the RADAR for those watching the trade deadline. If it happens, we should be very concerned in Chicago.

Why?

All that matters this year is if the Bulls are better than the Celtics and the Heat. The fact that the Knicks or Magic get better really doesn't matter. The two best teams are still the Heat and Celtics.

How could the Magic make that move? What pieces do they even have to offer? I guess Jameer Nelson is expendable if you get Paul, but what else? The Hornets would be dumb to take Hedo or Arenas, and I would consider Howard untouchable. What else would they offer?

My guess is that they would offer really bad expiring contracts and draft picks. That seems to be the pattern....

This "great migration" from West to East sucks. I love the Bulls but I've really grown accustomed to the West being the superstar conference.

Jeez...is Dirk to Indiana next?

Richardson's deal is expiring and the numbers match. I would assume NO would be looking for more than just cap relief, but if they wanted to it would probably work.

I'm pretty sure Hedo and Arenas are both on the books for multiple years following this season. Do the Magic have any other expiring deals?

Bagels is right, I forgot about Richardson. Too many NBA trades this season...

It would have to come in a multi-team deal like what we saw with Melo and the Knicks, no? I would imagine Nelson, Reddick/Arenas plus draft picks would be offered. And yes, Richardson would also make sense.

I agree, however I still don't like the fact that the Magic and Knicks are getting better overnight. The Bulls have been pretty injury-rattled this season yet have still been able to stay within 5 games of Boston and Miami... but last time I checked Thibs doesn't have the same horseshoe up his ass like another Chicago coach we all know.

Isn't it a little too early to judge Quade?

Howard "Rumorville" Eskin, the afternoon host at WIP SportsRadio in Philadelphia, guest hosted "The Dan Patrick Show" yesterday, and mentioned Chris Paul possibly joining Carmelo Anthony as a New York Knick at the start of yesterday's show. Hmmm...Eskin said that Paul's agent is the same as Anthony's.
