The peephole video helps for those moments

Yes it does help. So does Mountain Dew Supernova.

Series Update:

Dallas leads 1-0

Down the stretch of Game 1, Portland could not contain Dirk Nowitzki or Jason Kidd. Dallas as a team shot 10-19 from 3 point range. Portland was 2-16. To beat a solid, perimeter based offensive team like the Mavericks, the Trail Blazers have to be able to hit a few more threes of their own.

Key Players:

Dirk (DAL): 28pts, 10reb, 13-13 FT

Jason Kidd (DAL): 24pts, 6-10 3PT

Lamarcus Aldridge (POR): 27pts, 6reb

Andre Miller (POR): 18pts, 6ast

I wanna see Aldridge play more like he did this season and less like he did in the past. There's nothing saying he cant stand toe to toe with Dirk and play with him. He needs to do that, because the rest of the pieces are in play. I think this series ends up being the closest.

If Aldridge can stay effective, the Blazers have a real chance.

Let the rigging begin. Tyson Chandler two quick fouls. 7 and a half left in 1st quarter.

Jesus. Wesley Matthews looked dead for a second. If he goes down for the series, Portland really doesn't have much of a chance.

Dallas wins game 2, now up 2-0 in the series as they head to Portland.

I have yet to see anything from Portland that shows me why so many people thought they would win this series.

They didn't play like this during the regular season. Dirk, and possibly Kidd, are hungrier than people thought. Or possibly just sick of being embarrassed.

Yeah I think they are playing really well right now. I just wish they hadn't lost Butler. Dirk, Kidd, and Butler would be a pretty stout threesome.

I doubt Kidd can keep much of this up offensively for an extended playoff run. I cant see them beating the Lakers though.

The announcers were talking about how Dirk taught Jason Kidd his 3 point shot while Kidd was shut down/resting at the end of the season. Something about extending the elbow out, not too sure of the actual mechanics modified. Like you FF, I'm skeptical about Kidd being able to maintain this big of offensive load. I wouldn't be surprised though, if the 3 point shot stayed consistent.

Yeah what a piece of crap 4th quarter for the Mavs. I have never understood why they continually settle for jumpers down the stretch and almost forget about Dirk. There is no reason in the world Kidd should be taking a 3 with 30 secs left and down by 2 points. Get Dirk the damn ball and give him a chance to tie or win the game. Jason Terry should be shot. He is not nearly as good at basketball as he thinks he is.

But with all that said, I expect the Mavs to win the next 2 games.

See, that's the thing. Dude plays like he thinks he's Tracy McGrady in 2001. He's good, and a few years ago I would've told you that pound for pound he had the biggest heart on the team. Not so much now.

Terry has two years left on his deal at age 33. With a salary around 10mil/per, Cuban probably would have trouble moving him.

You're like an abusive family member. You know, the guy that gets drunk at a family reunion and starts saying rude shit to everybody. Then the next day his wife reminds him of the ignorant shit he was saying and he begins making a series of apology phone calls to various and sundry family members and guests. That's you.

Tomorrow, I want an apology PM. :)

KS, if you keep alienating the brothers you won't have any ebony allies left. You're already at war with Kamps and I know you don't like Ivan much. I'm the last balck friend you have here.
