Yes.

But he's still got to be considered that. What is he on the all time list 3rd?

That's a tough list to think about.

I don't think he's even close to the amount of losses Wilkens has though.

George is a great coach. He's a Dean Smith disciple. When you watch his teams you can see that controlled, fast breaking, tempo controlled motion offense Smith used to implement. Over the last 5 years Karl has upped the tempo considerably. Using the altitude to the Nuggets' advantage. He's one of my all time coaches. Probably top 5.

Do the Thunder still have Cole Aldrich in the system? Can he develop into more than a Przybilla?

Idk if he was called up from the D-League team for the playoffs.

Ty Lawson Top 15 PG?

He's a stud. Maybe a year away from dominating. He's just as quick or quicker than D-Rose.

Halftime

Maybe the best half of basketball played so far this postseason.

Both teams shooting 57% at halftime. Have I been teleported back to 1987? Awesome.

LOL... Galinari and Chandler need to be signed to extensions in between the 3rd and 4th quarters. Why would NY give up both of them?

KS. I got a feeling this thread will be the second longest behind the Bulls/Pacers.

These two teams are very even.

Nene right knee contusion? I'll take it.

What a great game. Durant is unstoppable if his shot is falling. Which is a lot of the time.

Can see why the sharps in Vegas think the Thunder are the team to beat for the title.

I hope someone rolled Walt No Neck in front of a TV at the nursing home. This has been a fantastic game.

I don't really give a fuck what the refs do for the first 46 minutes of a game, but please for the love of God officiate correctly in the last couple minutes. Frustrating. This was a great game, but it's been tainted by douchebag officiating.

Series Update:

OKC leads 1-0

One of the better played games to be nationally televised this entire NBA season ended on a controversial non call. Hopefully, the Ref-Taint will subside and these two teams can play another epic 48 minutes of basketball. Both of these teams could beat any other team in the NBA in a 7 game series. Both teams also have substantial deficiencies as well. Denver is still looking for a 4th quarter closer on offense. OKC has no consistent scoring threat in the paint (No one outside of Durant and Westbrook really).

Key Players:

Kevin Durant (OKC): 41pts, 9reb

Russell Westbrook (OKC): 31pts, 3-4 3PT, 7reb, 6ast

Nene' (DEN): 22pts, 8reb

Danilo Galinari (DEN): 18pts, 4reb
