I don't know if I would have pulled the trigger on this. Though it was painfully evident how much he is needed when he wasn't running the show against Boston.

I don't like the move, but they are just holding out for CP3 in 2012. There isn't any other alternative that would come cheap and only sign a one year deal.

Maybe they could've found someone in the draft and used this money to bolster the bench, but next season will probably be very similar to this one for the Knicks.

It's just a 1 year deal. The new CBA is going to change everything around anyway. For one year you could do worse than Billups....no PG with Anthony and Stoudamire isn't going to work. Chris Duhon isn't walking in that door.

They'll win 5-10 more games. Toronto, Cleveland, Charlotte, New Jersey, Milwaukee aren't getting any better. Maybe I should say they have to win 5-10 more games for D'Antoni to survive.
