I agree on rondo. There's a reason I'm not changing my avatar

On Paul, he's gonna leave and do better I think but just another example of why think dirk doesn't get near the respect he deserves. There's something to be said about his lack of selfishness and diva-ness. Whether he wins it this year or next or never I have changed my opinion of him the past few years

Someone needs to send out an SOS for John Wall. What a horrible situation overall Nfld all you conspiracy theorists out there why the hell would the NBA want wall to be in Washington. His only teammate with all star star potential it seems(blatche) might possibly be lazier than eddy curry. But wall is tremendous. He needs a good assertive coach to lead him or i feel he will get lost with the Stevie franchises, agent zeros, and starburys of he league. But I haven't seen anything suggesting he's not as talented as rose is. Luckily for us rose had the mother, upbringing, luck, etc that some guys didn't. We know he is special. We don't know that about wall, but I'm sure he can be

Westbrook - jalen said it best - Westbrook is a 6'6" guard with a specific skill set that allows him to dominate on a given night. He is a stud, when you score 40 in a playoff game and are nationally criticized afterwards, it is only because people know you are special. I hope that nucleus can work it out, but people need to shit the he'll up with this "Russell needs more assists than shot attempts" dumb shit. This is much closer to wade and lebron then Marbury and kg IMO. From what I've seen and heard they wil be good tho

Holiday is the funnest. Doesn't this kid have balls of steel? He's much less talented than the above two but he is much smarter and just has such a better sense of calm control and maturity on the court that I don't see from the other two. In the right situation I think he can be a much better defensive version of someone like tony Parker maybe. He has an awesome coach to learn from as long as he doesn't get arrogant enough to tune him out

Oh yeah hov that reminds me. I was wrong, you were right, Collins is a very good coach. I did say thibs would've been better though

Btw ks look at the shoutout section if you haven't seen Charles barkleys interview on Simmons podcast. That's just real right there. In is rare you get that honest of insight from such a great athlete. His Shit List segment specifically

Also on harden I'm not sure they can both him and Russell. IMO it
Clearly handicaps their games. Harden is smarter, a better shooter and a more willing passer. Russell is more athletic, more talented, and more selfish. But essentially they are combo guard creators who have the same skill set. I'm not sure where hardens place is in this league but I think he's all star caliber and being hindered by another combo guard

There's a reason Jason Kidd is still considered almost worth the money he's getting, especially for a final four contender

Now that the flattery is over with why doesn't Russell use his size more on offense?

What about him?

Horford, maybe Dwight, noah, bogut, hibbert, Lopez, Asik

I dont see McGee making it even through the Jamal magloire route

Ten point game Timeout Dallas.

If OKC could put together a couple stops they'd be right back in it.

Seems they cant though

I like Brooks. They started 3-29 just a few years ago and are where they are now. The benching showed he's not worried about making tough decisions and between durant Westbrook and ibaka guys have really developed under him. I think he has collison playing the best of his career too

He really needs an offensive assistant coach though

I hope you're right. It doesn't look like the Bulls are getting past Miami, so I'm very thankful that my other team is still there. Over 11 years of Mavericks fandom is gonna pay off for me and I'm very excited.

Come on kid you're gonna lose me with that talk. How soon you forget 95 games of sampling in favor of the past two.

Remember t-Mac's infamous "feels good to be in the second round". I almost see bosh saying that postgame. This series isn't over, all of us rational fans shouldve watched too much basketball to believe such a thing

All that said nothing has changed my opinion of a week ago that Dallas is the best team. Kidd will kill this "suffocating", overplaying, Miami d. Chucks been right all postseason, dirk is the most unguardable player left. Dallas will execute offensively so much better than Chicago because of their depth. Jt and jj against backup scrub guards?

And people arent watching if they haven't noticed dirk really wants this.

But I still think the east is up for grabs

Very sorry for doubting you next post Dirk. I forgot how much I
Love seeing a Leap in the NBA, especially this late in a career possibly

What a complete collapse last night by the Thunder. After (My Guy!) Harden fouled out, the Thunder couldn't do anything. And that 3 pointer they attempted at the end of regulation should earn that team a fine by the NBA. Did Scott Brooks draw up a 3-pointer that Durant was to take about 6 feet behind the arc?!? That was the worst last second shot attempt I have ever seen in my life, and they didn't even get it off. This series is over and the Thunder kids choked. They'll be back next year though and hopefully this is a learning experience. Kudos to Dallas for never stop fighting. They never had a single lead in this game until overtime.

One great thing to take from these playoffs for the thunder, barring a big comeback, is Harden. I think we know they have another block to build from, getting him and Westbrook in sync will be key going forward

Im growing more confident by the day in Dallas's title chances

I'm also getting sicker of the Heat Hype by the day though which makes the above much easier

Good to see Dallas finish it right.

These guys just arent flinching and their MVP actually is unguardable when it comes to scoring points. If Miami gets by Chicago, they will have a much tougher test awaiting them

For old times sake i did chuckle at the ironic MVP chants. I can't remember a more, IMO, undeserving MVP winner than dirk. Sorry Steve Nash

Dirk has been unreal this post-season.

That said, it'll be hard for him to beat the Bulls in the Finals.

Dirk is four wins away from finally getting his ring and solidifying his status as the greatest Euro player ever. :thumleft:

When heels, turns, kayfabe, shit like that people lose me. I actually know those words pretty much because I actually read most of the posts here

Doesn't almost every non wrestling fan know about the Montreal Screwjob? I thought it was pretty famous

Edit: this type of admission should've been brought out in the ten pages of truth, but like 14 years ago I was really into wrestling for like 9 months or so. I know why the crack baby sings.
