James harden is gonna need to step up big time. Okc is much better at perimeter defense than la also. Mavs over okc in 7

I'll be the contrarian and say Thunder in 6.

I think the Mavericks are playing so good right now, I think they'll win this series in 6. If I'm head coach Rick Carlisle and Dallas, I'd be very, very careful about a possible letdown tonight in Game 1. It will be 9 days between the Mavericks finishing off the Lakers in their West Semi and the Thunder knocking off the Grizzlies in 7 tough games in the other series. I wouldn't be shocked if Oklahoma City steals the opener of the West Finals tonight.

I could see Westbrook shooting the Thunder out of the series but if they play their game they are too athletic for the Mavs to handle. Oklahoma in 7......then swept by the Bulls

I was absolutely surprised that the Mavericks didn't have much rust after their shootout-style win in Game 1 of the NBA West Finals over the Thunder. If Oklahoma City doesn't find a better way to guard and contain Dirk Nowitzki in Game 2 and when the scenes shifts to OKC this weekend for Games 3 & 4, this could be a sweep.

Obviously last night did nothing to change my opinion that dirk can outplay anyone on a series right now. This should go 6 or 7 games but i think dirk might be having his Peyton in 06 moment in this years playoffs

I'm sticking with the Thunder unlike FF. I think they should feel good about their chances after that game last night. Dirk won't have another game like that and Westbrook will play better.

Ive been wrong countless times here. I thought ben wallace was a good signing and I thought bosh was better than amare. Hov probably remembers dozens more if you care enough to ask. I dont

When it comes to arguing or debating with you then no, I'm not usually worried about being wrong. I doubt I'm alone in that

Dirk might be the best scorer in the NBA. He's definitely the most versatile. Watch the games walt, they are fun to watch! Box scores have to get boring reading day after day

I'm biased. That said Chris Paul, rondo, and rose are the only players who can become very historically significant. Rose is on the top of that list, he has Kobe/Duncan impact potential nhe doesn't have Jordan potential but I can't fly so I'm not gonna knock him for that. Rondo can maybe be a better fat lever and much worse scoring big O. People don't know or ignore the fact that his hands are freakishly large though and in basketball terms it was his gift and curse. He's not lazy and he has 10x the heart pierce wanted to have in 2008.

Brandon I wanna see a poor mans Tiny He's more different than iverson than many acknowledge I think so i wouldn't go down that route. I don't think he has nearly the heart iverson did, but see the mj reference above, that's not a knock. It's not just a cool thing to say, we all saw it. Very few had heart like AI. I think he's way smarter but less talented than Young Marbury so that tells you what i think in terms of his huge ceiling-floor gap

The NBA is the shit

Btw, this is gonna be a super super fun series for you bored casual fans. I am expecting and very much can't wait for a Dirk/Duncan in 06 Dirk/durant in 2011 parallel series. This will be entertaining if Stern's Mafia allows it to be
