And why not Dominique Wilkins? The dude was a monster.

Well, Dominique is a guy that might replace Pippen. Pippen was never considered his equal when they were both playing. Scottie has improved in retirement like Bob Gibson.

At a time when some of the best were averaging double that

I don't think he's above some of the other guys, and how is dolph in over pippen? That's absurd. I'm not one of those young idiots who does think any of those guys couldnt keep up today but like I said some very good players will get cut, and i think dolph can go

I think Gervin should be left off.

Wilkins was great, and one of my personal favorites growing up, but he never won anything. He could be left off I think.

You have to admit that the average NBA player back then was significantly worse and it made it easier for above average players to look like superstars.

I think Shaq at his best- and maybe Hakeem- are the only two players ever that could compare to Wilt as mobile big men.

I agree, and neither came anywhere close to his numbers. Therefore, it was much easier to put up good numbers back then.

If you put Wilt in the 90s, he's not going for 50 points and 25 rebounds a game. That's why I think the 50s guys go away quicker than someone like Pippen who did it in a much better era.

I think Dolph Schayes was a greater player than you're giving him credit for being.

I still don't see Julius Erving on that list.... It's a long list, am I just not seeing it. There's no way he's not on there, right?

I know they were at different spots in their careers but the dream destroyed the daddy so bad in 95 he wanted to run to la

Shaquille may have been more physically imposing, and I think he's maybe the most underrated passer of our generation, he was no Dream

I think Wilt's numbers have more to do with the shitty teams he was on a lot of the time. He was in a position where he could do all the scoring.

It seem like the overall talent is probably deeper now. But I get the impression some people think John Salmons would have numbers like Dolph Schayes had he played in the 60s.

Yeah but you said

"With Superstars like John Salmons, Kevin Martin, and Michael Beasley leading the league into its next golden era, the league is deeper than ever"

He's too young for him. He probably would've went with Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

Did I say that exact quote?
