My point was just that Hakeem did everything well. Nothing he couldnt do at a high level.

Right but same with MJ, Bird, Magic(when he needed to he D'ed up), Etc

Doing everything very well is just a prerequisite for GOAT, not the sole criteria

Well either that or the equipment, training, coaching, etc did. Combine stats? Olympic records? All the ways we physically assess athletes suggest a significant increase in the mean there.

Situational awareness bigfan. Wade has family here. This thread could've waited till the offseason

Ok, did he disappear in the 4th quarter or was the defense that good. Also, did Lebron try and take over a game he shouldn't have? Was at a bar and wasn't really watching the game with sound and focus. But, would be curious to hear from the NBA guys around here.

Miami is clearly gonna win the series if their 3rd/4th best player keeps playing this well.

  Bernstein said that? Is that profound? No shit it was the biggest play, along with Haslem's d at the end. But Wade has been the best player easily on the Heat this series, Dirk has been the best overall IMO.

Yeah.

Wade is the second best player on the Heat

He is having a good series though. Like LeBraun and Bosh did against The Bulls.

Im no Wade hater.

Lebron is easily the most talented, I've never argued that. This series is why alot of us laughed at those who claimed this is Lebron's team now. Way too much prisoner of the moment syndrome among sports fans

Wade, good player, want him on my team, but not "The player who defined an ERA' as some have said here!

Have you watched any of the playoffs?????Wade smoked the Celtics

This Wade love just blows me away. When he is matched up on the aged Ray Allen he is Elite, when D Rose is running him around he is below average and sits for the 4th, in between his attempts to jump into other players, now going up against the 38 and 32 year old backcourt, is all everything again.

The allegation is now that he was injured during the Bulls series and suddenly became healthy??????

Wade is a great player, but here is my final example. Put Wade on Dallas and Dirk on Miami, and Wade might still collect some points, but this series is over.

Wade is just one of these elite guys that can carry a team by himself and his record when he is not paired with a top 10 all time player backs it up.

Shaq wasn't a top 10 player in the league by 06 so there goes that little theory

Dirk has been the best player in this series so I don't think that point proves alot either. Wade has been the 2nd best. Lebron is disappearing again, and it's not new. Wade is the reason it's even 2-2 right now, Lebron's praying for 2 more W's so this series doesn't become a bigger deal
