So the NBA will decide to pick the Clippers as the winner in the Chris Paul sweepstakes. I don't think it takes much effort to say that the original deal was better.

I thought the Clips deal includes Bledsoe also? I'm not sure the original deal is better. Gordon, Bledsoe, and Aminu are all really young and have a ton if potential. Considering the Hornets won't be a contender until they can get or develop another player of Paul's caliber I'm not sure how useful Odom and Scola are to them.

IMO the Hornets could have made the playoffs this year with the players they were getting in the original deal.

I agree but they weren't a real contender. Making the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed with a bunch of guys in their late twenties and then getting waxed by a contender doesn't really help them out much.

There will be a lawsuit filed soon. Stern and the NBA are really fucking this whole process up. Does Stern want to be a GM too? It appears that the Hornets winning the trade isn't enough. Some team will have to give up every asset to get it approved.

The players should've had Kwame's agent negotiate the lockout. They probably would've ended up with 65% of the BRI.
