Not this year as much. I am aware of the benching of Randolph though.

This is sad. Even I know Randolph starts for Memphis, and I've only watched a few Grizzlies games this season.

Did you know that Grant Hill is also out with a knee injury? And Jimmy Carter is President.

I once again have provided stats for the games missed doesn't mean anything crowd and I'm sure it will go overlooked again. Thibs had 8 players that played 80 or more games during his first season as coach. He had 6 that played 60 or more his second yr. He never had to deal with the sort of injuries that Hoiberg had to deal with. I provided facts not opinions.

I also just provided facts for the Grizzlies which dispute the belief that they are a team decimated by injury. The Bulls have doubled them up on the injury front. They won one game without their guys and you're ready to hold a parade. Their bench guys are better than the Bulls bench guys. Would you like to debate that fact also?

I agree. The Bulls would love to have Lance Stephenson coming off the bench.

You must have missed the part where he came off the bench for 15 games. You just don't have it when it comes to this stuff. Give it up.

I would agree with that. Tony Allen is also better than Etwaun Moore. I'm sure Imu will have a meaningless Stat which disputes this statement.

Douchebag said Zach Randolph is a starter. You said they moved him to the bench earlier in the year, as a way to dispute it. It is true he temporarily came off the bench, for a fraction of the season. He has been a starter throughout his career, including the bast majority of this season. Including currently.

Also, do you really want the assigning of a player to the bench as an indicator that he is worthless to a team? That wouldn't help your Joakim Noah stances.

What about Manu Ginobli only starting a third of his career games?

Once again If you can find a quote where i referred to him as "worthless" then I'd appreciate it. My original point is that he is slowing down. He is as evidenced by the fact that they benched him in order to play faster. He also was benched earlier. That is a fact.

I provided evidence as to the Bulls injury situation being drastically different than Memphis's and yet as usual it was ignored. That is the truly sad part. His original point was that Memphis was fighting through injuries to win games. Their main guys have missed 63 games and the Bulls 126. I also provided evidence which debunked the myth that Thibs coached through injuries. Its in the fire Hoiberg thread if you care to look.

Memphis also has a better bench than the Bulls. I would take Tony Allen (Crane's very own), Courtney Lee and Lance Stephenson any day over Etwaun Moore, Aaron Brooks, and Tony Snell/Justin Holiday. Not even a comparison and I don't like Lance.

As far as the Grizzlies and their injuries go, i'd have to see the number of games missed among their key guys. Matt Barnes is not a key guy and Zebo is slowing down. Gasol and Conley yes the rest of those guys no.

These are all starters.

Lance had a career high last night, and my guy Matt Barnes put up a triple double.

LTG looking foolish again.

Not as foolish as you right about now. Its taken two years to exact any semblance of revenge. Matt Barnes? 36 year old journeyman Matt Barnes. More noted for fighting Derrick Fisher than anything else Matt Barnes. You really are slumming right about now Douchebag.

The "resurgence" of Lance is still in its infancy. The mere fact that you are using a few good games to demonstrate that he doesn't stink is quite telling.

Lance is singlehandedly carrying Memphis on his back to a playoff appearance. We should be celebrating this.

They're suiting up like 7 guys right now.

The Grizzlies lost another guy yesterday to injury. 39 year old Vince Carter went down. It's the Lance show now.

The guy is already on his third team since the pronouncement was made. I don't know where he is exactly leading him either. They were in the playoffs when he arrived. He is currently avg. 13 4 and 2, numbers which aren't exactly earth shaking. He probably is playing himself into having his option picked up for next season now.

Long Time Guy: Wrong about Matt Barnes, wrong about Lance Stephenson, wrong for America.

The Lance Stephenson bandwagon has dwindled significantly over the past 2 yrs. Matt Barnes never had one. Drumming up interest for either is a tough sell at this point.

The bandwagon is just getting started. I'm just along for the ride.

When asked about the Grizzlies plans down the stretch, coach Dave Joerger said that he wants his team to "just give it to Lance [Stephenson] and get out of the way."

It is amazing to see Lance reach his full potential. He seems to be transcending to a top tier NBA talent right now.

Lance has caught the injury bug in Memphis now. Not surprising that they lost with their leader missing.

Lance Stephenson may be on his way out of the league. He is on his 4th team in less than 2 yrs. That is not a good look.

Lance has been looking great since he put on a Grizzlies uniform a few weeks back. Just like I told you, the jury is still out on Lance.

That would amount to the longest jury deliberation in history. Did you give McDermott equal time? Lance is already on his third team in less than 2 yrs. A better Lance Stephenson is only slightly better than a better Etwaun Moore. As far as bottom shelf goes his bar is set at about the same level as a bottle of MD 20/20

He led his team to a victory over the Cavs last night on the road. The Grizz were without Gasol, Randolph, Conley, and Matt Barnes. Somehow this team manages to win games with significant injuries and they are currently fifth in a very tough conference.

Are you still sure about them "managing to win games"? They are 2-8 in their last 10 and also losers of 6 straight.

The immortal Lance Stephenson and Matt Barnes have also suited up during this stretch too.
