What a hell of a game. Rockies just scored 2 in the 13th to tie it. Holliday in the outfield to make this go to extras. He made up for it by tieing it in the 13th with a double.

I can't beleive how the Rockies killed the eventual Cy Young winner Peevy

Wow, what a finish, that place was dead after the Giants scored 2 runs in the top of the inning, and to come back....Wow!

Rockies vs. Phillies is going to be fun, and congrats Rockies on a great finish to the season.

Good. Rockies win. The greatest late season run to get in the playoffs ever. They won 14 out of 15 to get in on the 163rd game. Wow.

The Mets were the greatest collapse and the Rockies were the greatest comeback. Both in the same year.

By the way, Holliday didn't touch the plate on the game winning run.

What a tremendous finish! A wonderful example of why this is the most beautiful game.

No, he most certainly did not touch home plate.

By the way, am I alone, or is anyone else bothered by references to "winning" the Wild Card? I am not opposed to the Wild Card, but a team does not "win" the Wild Card. Rather, a team is permitted to play in the post season by the graces of the Office of the Commissioner and the Rules Committee.

I turned it off after the top of the 13th and Hoffman coming in. That'll learn me.

How fitting was it that M.Barrett dropped the ball! Pinella should get manager of the year for getting that cancer out of the clubhouse.

I really won't be able to stomach any overhype for the Rockies.

Don't worry. Cubs overhype will outhype the Rockies hype.

My Dear Internet Friends,
I understand the Rockies will have a rally. Wonderful, let us celebrate with vigor our 2nd place finish! Even ol' Evil J.A.C.K. knows something smells about that.

I mf'ed Julio about ten times and turned off the TV. My significant other asked why I cared so much. Little did she know she had a financial stake in the outcome.
