these guys need a hit, don't swing for the fences

great play by the new SS they subbed in, saved the game right there.

i dont' think rangers will score. they dont know how to manufacture runs

but it's seagar. he's clutch.

nope he was swinging for the fences and flew out.

it's over. they dont know how to hit a single.

game over

series is over now. i sad when this started that once the rangers lose, they may lose 4 in a row because they're so streaky this season.

i don't see the coming back after blowing this game like they did.

The visiting team has won every game so far. That ends when they return to Houston.

I'm actively cheering for him to blow it. Before this season I didn't think I had any personal animus against him, but I can't stand looking at him now for some reason.

Kinda feels like it’s going to be a repeat of last year’s World Series.

Rangers have the third oldest roster in MLB.

Schwarber's swing is so short and quick. It's like he just flicks his wrists and the ball goes out. I would love for him to keep hitting homeruns for the Phillies and have the baseball world completely disassociate him from the Cubs.

The 0.7 adjusts for his defense, and he couldn't DH for much of the year when Harper had to DH because of his elbow. Offense only he was around 2.7-2.8.

should have been 1 out and still a tie game bases loaded

terrible at bat by realmuto. just stupid bad.

philes up 4-2

It's a Dave Dombrowski joint, same shit, different franchise. Dombrowski always empties out the farm system and spends in free agency for big name bats and solid-to-great starting pitching but the bullpen's his Achilles heel.

Dombrowski never put together a reliable bullpen in a decade and a half as Detroit's GM. Lucked into Kimbrel being his closer and having a dead cat bounce year the year they won in Boston--with 2 starting pitchers (Porcello/Price) Dombrowski had personally traded to Boston ahead of leaving the Tigers job for the Red Sox. Dombrowski always likes bringing back guys from prior teams he's GM'd for. He brought in JD Martinez who he had signed to multiple contracts in Detroit before trading him away and then traded for Kinsler during the World Series run in Boston to shore up the Red Sox infield D.

Do the Phillies lead the league in white guys? Seems like everybody in their lineup is white. Lots of white pitchers too. That's rare today. And, of course, it's bad. Nobody likes crackers.

He's gotta be the worst good pitcher. Cuz I know he's had a good career overall. But I always remember him being bad. When I would see him. Expecially with the Sox. And he's been shit the last 2 days.
