Tonight Jays clobbered the Angels 15-1

Guess who was starting for the Angels - yes that POS -

Jose Quintana: 1.2 IP, 5 H, 4 BB, 4 K, 7 R/ER, ERA moves to 19.80

Boston - lost 3 straight then won 5. Went from last to 1st in 5 days. Maybe in 2 days, Baltimore can accomplish the opposite.

Best 2-6 lineup in baseball. Other than that, looks like garbage. Any pitching staff that Steve Cishek is a major part of, can't be good.

I watched the Angels play the other night. There are a few familiar faces -- Madden, Fowler, Cishek, and Quintana. In the 7th, Fowler got on with 2 outs, stole 2nd, and then was driven in by Ohtani to tie the game 5-5. I heard a "he goes, we go" from the color guy after Dexter crossed home plate. Made me smile. Fun team to watch. Hopefully Trout can make the playoffs for the first time since '14.

ya when i saw fowler signed w/ the angels in the offseason it was a big fuck you from Maddon to Theo. I think now it can be safely written on the post 2016 cubs that never finding a legit leadoff hitter to replace Fowler is what did them in.

Fowler and Q signing were mistakes, Angels are already regretting them.

Fowler hurt. That's a blessing for the Angels.

Angels now got better. Fowler isn't even replacement level.

Phillies runner tagged up on a short fly to left. Even though Ozuna threw a weak ass throw to home, the runner never touched the plate, which every replay confirmed. Yet called safe and upheld.

I see. And how would you characterize your relationship with your father?

Can't see the tag. If he wasn't tagged, runner, as he got up, touched the plate. Ump had a better view than any camera angle, so maybe he saw clearly he wasn't tagged.

dodgers padres this season has been epic. each game feels like a playoff game.

Bauer shit in spring training about how he closed both or one eye to ptich. cocky asshole.

So Tatis Jr hits a lead off dinger and look what he does - awesome :

I'm not watching SD/LAD simply because MLB is shoving this "rivalry" and "playoff feel" down my throat.

Besides, It's the NL. Pitchers are still hitting. Like, grow up, will ya? It's as bad as Biden with a mask on zoom.

the game tonight was incredible. you missed a good one. SD down 7-1 in the 7th and come back to win 8-7. the hype is real

I've watched almost every April dodgers/padres game this season and it's like playoff baseball in april. Each and every game has been intense.

Those last few innings the Padres put together last night is something that happens in a season where you win the World Series.

Why? I guarantee SD will have a half a dozen heartbreakers. It's the essence of baseball. And nobody knows it better than baseball players. It's a season of 1500 innings.

Are we talking about the Great Padres team the Brewers swept last week?

Maybe they are fun, I dunno. But MLB is sparing no expense telling us that Dodgers/Padres is the Big Red Machine vs the 27 Yankees.

Only because the Yankees suck. Even if they were .500, we would be get that Yanks BoSox rivalry shoved down our throats like any other season.

Padres are probably a year away . I don't think they can beat the Dodgers in the playoffs. But I would be rooting for them.

A lot of teams would call it a night down 7-1 in the 7th on the road.
