Yeah, I don’t know how teams can structure a contract without knowing if he’ll pitch.

You could probably load up a contract with incentives if he hits certain thresholds regarding pitching.

I don't think you're going to be able to get away with doing that. Someone, maybe the Angels, is just going to throw stupid money at him without any incentive clauses.
