Interestin' tidbit

Cardinals are 92-67, (25 games over .500)

Yet their 2 workhorses and best pitchers are:

Wainright: 11-12, 3.71 ERA, 191.2 IP
Miles Mikolas 12-13, 3.30 ERA, 199 IP

That means the rest of their staff is 27 games above .500.

I also like how these 2 guys have a LOT of decisions, and each has 32 starts and will probly get 1 more, and they each are near the 200 IP mark.

Rare to have 2 starters on a staff both have at least 32 starts.

Very traditional pitching stats, I love it.

You seem like a fan. The Angeles have always had talent,
but rarely put it together. What do the Angeles need to do to actually make the playoffs?

Reminds me of “Spahn and Sain and pray for rain” when in fact the rest of the staff had a better record.

The biggest problem has been health. We lost Rendon early then Fletcher. Then Trout was out for a month and a half. Then Jared Walsh went down. They were replaced by guys claimed off waivers so it was a parade of bums. There's a lot going on with coaching staff and front office. They were trying some weird crap where they were taking strikes and waiting for perfect pitches. It sounded ridiculous and we probably lead league in strikeouts. At least Maddon is gone. The minors are starting to turn around at least. Minasian did a pretty good job of clearing money off the books so we should have over 100 million to spend next season. Maybe next year.

I don't know what it is about Coliseum they're always trying to rip us off. My brother lived in Mountain View so I watched a lot of games there. This was the longest HR I've ever seen in person.
