Rangers, tough as nails. Diamondbacks are no joke either. Goes 6, at least.

took the rangers (-165) in the series, took the over in game 1. i think the warmer weather for nov. baseball against decent pitching is a few runs better than cold baseball against quality pitching. may play the over in every game.

Would definitely think that is the right view. Over should be soilid play

yeah, i'm glad to see modern day world series baseball played with players not dressed like mort from bazooka joe. wouldn't think it's a concrete advantage for the hitters, definitely think it behooves the hitters. cold weather is certainly an advantage for pitching.

After going 3 for 4 in the first Wild Card game versus Milwaukee on Oct. 3, Christian Walker is 4 for his last 39. That's a .102 batting average. He's started every single playoff game. It's time to give him a night off.

The best team in the AL is representing the AL. Rays are a front running home advantage team, Baltimore is too damn young, and they pretty much showed they were more balanced than the Astros.

I suppose I just never paid attention to Tejas. No deGrom, not much Scherzer, shitty bullpen . . . I can't say I even remotely expected this. Not an unlikeable team, though.

The D-backs has the kind of position players I wish the Sox had. Or I wish the Sox would have drafted when they had the chance. And the dad as a coach.

Arizona with only one more regular season win than Grandpa's "quality humans" Cubs.

Taking the Rangers tonight. No other reason other than it just seems Texas likes being at bat during the top of innings.

A couple pitiful ABs there at the top of 6 with two on.

Alek Thomas has an unconventional twisting swing where he bails and doesn't appear to get optimum leverage.

Need a run here at top of 9th. D-Backs scare the living shit out of me. Moreso than the Astros.

People would be calling Thomas a bust by now if he were on the sox.

We're supposed to get a bullpen game from each team tonight. It's pretty flipping ridiculous that both teams playing in the World Series aren't deep enough to have a legitimate starting pitcher start Game 4.

Texas has both Heaney and Dunning as almost full time starters. i don't know much about the Diamondbacks back line starters. I'm pretty sure they aren't as good as those two.

Tossup game Texas -102 Ariz -108. DBacks will be in a more desperation mode and that's good for the Rangers down the line.

I'm headed to the game tonight. Seems a bit much to spend to see a goddamn bullpen game in the World Series but who knows the next time I'll be living in a city where the World Series is hosted.

I suppose we'll have to see how the "starters" are used. If they go 3+ innings, that's more or less how a typical playoff starter is used these days.

That's cool. You should absolutely go. If you don't mind me asking, how pricy are the tickets?
