Watching minor league baseball in person tonight - Wander Franco of the Rays is going to be an American League All Star in 2022. The Rays just have to trade Joey Wendle or Willy Adames to free up a roster spot. Also, Monte Harrison of the Marlins looks good, but they are giving him reps in CF so I expect he will be in Jacksonville until the trade deadline. |

Jon Lester gives up a 1st inning grand slam and 6 runs total over 4 innings. Of course, the Nationals have come soaring back to take a 12-7 lead because it's the Orioles. David Ross didn't want to have to be the one to DFA Lester. |

I don't see how a move to Vegas is going to work. The only reason it works for the Raiders is half the season ticket sales are coming from LA and the Bay area. The league should let them move to San Jose and just tell the Giants to F off. |

I think there's a good chance its legit. He was hitting in '20 and was still hitting in '21. Then he's out for a month with a concussion and returns hotter than ever. Its been infuriating watching them run Suzuki, Bemboom and Butera out there...what a bunch of hobos. Suzuki can't frame a pitch to save his life... |

Girardi apparently asked the umps to do an extra substance check of Scherzer and Scherzer basically started to strip on the mound. Girardi then got ejected and Scherzer taunted him. I need to see this…sounds hilarious. |
