Hal Steinbrenner panicked worrying about the fans. Max Kellerman correctly called what they've done in the last year a "stupid tax". Can't say that I disagree.

30 years old.. 9 years at 40 per.. The second half of the contract has the potential to be an absolute disaster.

They will have to eat the last two 2-3 years of that contract as he will no longer be playable by then. That's given. So it's more like, 6-7 years(if they are lucky) for 360.

He’ll be a first baseman in a year or two, then collapse into an oft injured DH.

Book it.

I suspect that the Giants will be pissed about losing out on Judge and will overpay for Correa.

How about singing Swanson and trading Davis and Killian for Tatis? If the Padres really offered $400M to Judge they must want to clear some payroll somewhere.

One of these guys is not like the other. Former MVP, CF/1B gold glove, under 30 on a 1yr prove it deal.

It's still $40M for the same bat. With ZERO upside for the Cubs if he stops sucking. The deal should have included a team option.

Heyward had no power, Belinger will hit 30

Padres also offered more money for Turner but he chose the Phillies. That owner doesn't seem to give a shit.

Cubs have not had a guy hit 30 HRs since 2019, Schwarbs and Bryant.

I'll bet you a $40 cheese pizza from Barraco's that Bellinger hits 29 or fewer HRs as a Cubs this upcoming season.

I'll take that. Though I'm out of Illinois send me the money. The flubs will suck enough that Bellinger will get enough ABs to hit 30 hrs.

The Yankees offered 7/213 early in the season. Judge effectively earned $147M in 2022.

I can't believe the Padres were in on Judge. Machado, Soto, Tatis, and Judge? Maybe they are looking to trade Tatis after he fucked them.

I'd like the cubs to take a chance on eovaldi, if the guy can stay healthy he's a true #1.

Take a look at the crazy shit Big Unit did after he turned 35. If you just considered his age 36 years forward, he is arguably a HoF player based on that alone.

Jose Quintana to the Mets....I still appreciate what he did for the Sox, despite his .500 record.

I'm hoping mlb gets sued and loses hundreds of millions, anybody who bet against NY or the under should get a piece.

The Padres must have found that FTX money. Their all star team is going to fuck around and be better than the Dodgers.

Tatis has a full no-trade through 2028, but I could see him waiving it for a fresh start somewhere.

If you're going to sign Bogarts makes no sense to trade Tatis. If they're going to go for it, go for it.

I would have liked the Sox to get him on a one year. We desperately need a lefty starter.
