Fowler makes a lot of sense for the Sox. I wish he was a better defender

My guy told me Ryan Howard will be the White Sox DH next year. Deal is already pretty much done.

I wouldn't mind Holliday on the Sox. DH, and mentor some of the younger hitters. I feel like the guy can still hit, his exit velocity has been quite good.

Unfortunately, in their current incarnation, even older players who are still sort of serviceable, wind up hitting .196 and striking out 250 times.

I've always liked Matt Holliday. DH would be great for him. He needs to get out of LF.

Bruce.

Lefty power bat. No QO which is key since Sox will be outside top 10. And you just know he'll suck butt for however long his next contract will be.

Will the Oriloles let Trumbo go? Does he want to leave that ballpark?

Give Fowler the 3 year $33 million contract the Orioles gave him on the first day of the off season. Then, take Montero off the Cubs hands for nothing while the Cubs eat half his salary. Then worry about DH.

If the Cardinals bring him back, on like a 1/10M 2/18 type deal, he's going to play 1B/ Player/hitting coach type thing. They have Grichuk/Pham/Hazelbaker for LF and Piscotty for RF penciled in.

The man can still hit and could be a monster at Guaranteed Rate Field or whatever they are calling it.
DH could actually rejuvenate his career, I wouldn't mind seeing him here as I could watch him everyday.

The qualifying offer is $17.2M this year. It's Up $1.4M from last years ridiculous number. I hope a few more teams get burned offering a bum the QO trying to get the draft pick. They have to fix this stupid system in this years BA but it doesn't sound like they will. MLB is pushing hard for an international draft.

While I dont agree with what gd said, all of those moves make way more sense than signing Ventura to an extension would have.
