I'm with JORR on this one.

For all of his numerous faults that cannot possibly be quantified.... he is a passionate baseball fan and that is to be respected. That passion simply does not exist with NFL. I think NHL is the only sport that approaches MLB in that way...and that still isn't even very close.

Ask random folks wearing Bears jerseys "What is your favorite part about gameday?"

"Tailgaiting!" "Inviting friends over!" "Making guacamole!" "Fantasy!"

No one is going to mention watching a running back surgically proceed through an A gap. 90% won't know what the A gap even refers to.

Baseball fans know all of the nuances of the game...everyone knows the legends of Kirk Gibson, George Brett and Babe Ruth.

NFL has the immaculate reception. And maybe you consider T.O.'s endzone antics. About it. Maybe there were other amazing moments but everyone missed it going back to the cooler to grab some more Bud Lights.

This is true. The NFL has become pretty much unwatchable for me. I used to enjoy it much more 20 years ago. They have ruined a great game what with the stupid rule changes and challenges. Meh.
