So bad.

Yeah ... that's ... bad doesn't even cover it. Dogshit dumb is about the most Christian way to accurately describe it.

Make the pitcher throw with his other arm.

Pitch clock would take care of 90% of the problem along with stepping out of box. Those innings Baez pitched for the dodgers in the playoffs last year. Good lord. I could see limiting pitching changes so pitchers have to face two batters or something like that to get rid of all the changes but I don't think that's a huge thing in the grand scheme of things.

Beyond that there is not much you can do about the see more pitches approach a lot of teams seem to be taking unless you expand strike zone and we know they won't do a darn thing to limit offense.

If the goal is to shorten games...

Cut down drastically on mound visits. No need to have the ceremonial walk out to get the ball for every pitching change. Signal to bullpen, guy comes in, throws 3 warm up pitches (you threw 35 pitches in the bullpen, you dont need 9 more on the mound.)

3-4 pitching changes a game, that saves 5 minutes at least right there.

I should be Commissioner

But baseball is perfect, so dont worry about it

you know, fritzy on the dan patrick show said "if you're gonna d othis why dont you at least do runners on 1st and 3rd and 1 out to start the inning so the pitcher could get a double play to get out of it [i'd also get rid of the sac fly if i did first and third, that'd make it cosmically fair.... even tho a basehit would be that much more of a guaranteed run, you'd balance it out by having the GIDP to get the pitcher out of the jam]

buyt don't do any of this stuff cuz it's fucking retarded. leave baseball alone. if the games are too long just go watch football or the WNBA or something.
