I'm mystified. Reds/Bucs come out like a house-a-fire. Cardinals can't hit, field or relieve. Cubs with serious bullpen probs, Brewers are a fucking wrecking crew again. What the hell?

Two of the teams are shamelessly tanking and a third is permanently tanking but too ashamed to fully admit it. The Cardinals are still reeling from the death of a top prospect and the Cubs have put insane mileage on a lot of over 30 arms.

So yea, weird things are gonna happen especially when Eric Thames starts the season looking like NL MVP.

I heard Thames went to Korea to "learn to hit curveball". More likely he went there to learn to 'roid. 7 HR's already?

Let's just see where things are on July 1st before we lose our shit.

The brewers are ridiculous. 2 entire players on their 25 man roster is part of the "plan". The rest are filling out the roster until the prospects arrive.

If the Pirates and Brewers wintonight, the entire NLC will be within 1 game of each other, and all within 1 game of .500

It's early. Giants, Dodgers, and Mets have stumbled out of the gate, I don't think too many doubt their playoff chances (yet)

And somehow things are slowly progressing in the direction we predicted at the start of the season.

Entire division is within 1 game of each other, except for Pittsburgh who is a whopping 2 games back

Hard to see the Reds, Brewers, and Pirates hanging around long term....but crazy things happen. Maybe one of those wild years.
